      Video was useless to me because he lost me at the first step. I’m surprised he hasn’t responded to your comment and only responds to positive feedback. This video is to learn. Ohh well.

    • @TomasTassell
      @TomasTassell 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've just started, thought I'd learn. "First, create a new sequence. Then..."
      Nope. Lost already. How do I create a new sequence? Guess it's not beginner friendly... Time to find other tutorials.

    • @rajeshr5912
      @rajeshr5912 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Step 1)File>New>Project (Ctrl+Alt+N)
      Step 2) File >New>Sequence
      You get the same view as in video. But need to have essential graphics needed for the project which he did not provide a link in discription

      @condyshares 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wr5023 I'm learning with the 2020 version as well. To get to Essential Graphics, go to > Windows and then checkmark it assuming it isn't yet. This will not bring up the Gaussian Blur effect however (although it did yield a dissolve effect) and the majority of the other effects. For this, instead of searching in the upper left box* where the text graphics are, look at the bottom left box that you use to import media, and instead of the default tab, go to the effects tab in that box. From there you can select which ones you want to add into your upper left box, so select the Gaussian blur effect and it will make it available in the upper left box to use.
