She was doing well under treatment for the last six months but she lost the fight this week. What you did for Maverick speaks volumes about your person and your love for your dog. Wow, I knew prior to watching, the diagnosis. So hard to watch. I have a labradoodle, Professor Jones. He’d look good in a tweed suit with a bow tie. He’s 12 and going through some tough times. I really feel for you Bobby, been there, living it. Dogs are so precious. Keep at it man.
It has been so AWESOME to follow you and the boys over the past couple of years. It has inspired me to have forward looking dreams to sail upon retirement. It’s been two years for me and my family since we lost our dog Miley, I know that pain on Bobby’s face all too well. Bobby you gave Maverick a good life but he gave you so much more than that. The hole in your heart will heal slowly over time but he’ll always be with you. God bless you brother
Pets are more then family they always have your back nomatter what. A family can drift appart but a pet will always stay loyal to you till the end of their days
Nah, people are family. Pets are pets. I wouldn't die for my pet but I would for any of my kids or my wife. Pets are replaceable. People are not. You can love your pet, but in the end, its a short term relationship, unlike family with people that should last a lifetime.

I would also die for my daughter but not for the rest i have a big family but they can all burn for all i care they left me to rot when i needed help. I love my animals and to me they are more then family even if i replace them a thousand times they always stay loyal and even let me sleep good at night. My dogs safed me a few times when they tried breaking in my house if they did'nt barked i would be fast enough to handle the situation.
The dogs were the only reason why I first clicked on that first video. Then I watched a few other sailing channels but eventually settled on the Sailing Doodles. Sure the others have adventures but they didn't have those wonderful pups. Thank you for sharing them Bobby.
Dogs are animals that through their unreserved loyalty and love worm their way into our hearts and latch on till our death. Heck I still hurt when I think of my rott and she's been gone over 15 years now.
I have enjoyed your pup's and you for some time now I know it tore me up to hear the news I lost my pup of 14 years to cancer. He was a true sailor. And freind. My prayers my freind.

I've been there quite a few times Bobby. When we get our dogs (currently have two mini goldendoodles Enzo and Luca) we know someday we must say goodbye. The love they give and joy they bring us is worth every second of the sadness and loss we will experience. May your memories be fond and know Maverick and Goose had extraordinary lives and experiences. I can only imagine how sad Maverick was to see you sad and know he was saying goodbye to you. In my life I`ve had to put down 2 of my best friends who loved me unconditionally and trusted me totally. It`s a very hard thing to do, but I promised myself I would never let them suffer. Eventually the good memories erase the sad ones. God bless you all.
I went through this with my Golden Retriever, about three years ago. It’s extremely sad, and very brave of you to relive the experience. Thankfully, Maverick had his two best friends with him to the end. Hat tip to you for being there with him, some owners don’t have the heart and the courage to face this. RIP Maverick.

Have had many dogs that I have outlived. Each one has taken up residence in my heart. They love unconditionally, share all they are and when they leave part of us is never the same. Heart goes out to you, I know how the loss and reliving it hurts. It subsides with time and leaves behind loving joy of the time you did have. Nah, people are family. Pets are pets. I wouldn't die for my pet but I would for any of my kids or my wife. Pets are replaceable. People are not. You can love your pet, but in the end, its a short term relationship, unlike family with people that should last a lifetime.

I would also die for my daughter but not for the rest i have a big family but they can all burn for all i care they left me to rot when i needed help. I love my animals and to me they are more then family even if i replace them a thousand times they always stay loyal and even let me sleep good at night. My dogs safed me a few times when they tried breaking in my house if they did'nt barked i would be fast enough to handle the situation.

The dogs were the only reason why I first clicked on that first video. Then I watched a few other sailing channels but eventually settled on the Sailing Doodles. Sure the others have adventures but they didn't have those wonderful pups. Thank you for sharing them Bobby.
Dogs are animals that through their unreserved loyalty and love worm their way into our hearts and latch on till our death.

I've been there quite a few times Bobby. When we get our dogs (currently have two mini goldendoodles Enzo and Luca) we know someday we must say goodbye. The love they give and joy they bring us is worth every second of the sadness and loss we will experience. May your memories be fond and know Maverick and Goose had extraordinary lives and experiences. I can only imagine how sad Maverick was to see you sad and know he was saying goodbye to you. In my life I`ve had to put down 2 of my best friends who loved me unconditionally and trusted me totally. It`s a very hard thing to do, but I promised myself I would never let them suffer. Eventually the good memories erase the sad ones. God bless you all.
I went through this with my Golden Retriever, about three years ago. It’s extremely sad, and very brave of you to relive the experience. Thankfully, Maverick had his two best friends with him to the end. Hat tip to you for being there with him, some owners don’t have the heart and the courage to face this. RIP Maverick.

Have had many dogs that I have outlived. Each one has taken up residence in my heart. They love unconditionally, share all they are and when they leave part of us is never the same. Heart goes out to you, I know how the loss and reliving it hurts. It subsides with time and leaves behind loving joy of the time you did have. In time get another and you will get to share all over again. Blessings...
