Love the new look but I was really hoping that they'll incorporate a few important physical buttons such as climate control. Not a fan of screen only control.
As I’ve been inside that mega complex in Beijing dozens of times. Please say you have much more to show than just this. Never was on my radar and still isn’t as I have my own car(s) in China and associated drivers so I know what they have been working on for several years now. Even the cars they just made for their domestic market 20 years ago where better built than what was coming out of Australia. As a proud Australian born, with Australian born parents, it’s just amazing how China now no longer has a reliance on Expats to learn from. Some would say scary. Hopefully, you’ve chased more cars from this exhibition. 👍😎🇦🇺
The problem for Haval is the fugly badge and the huge Haval spelt in the rear. If you are a budget brand keep the logos small and subtle. I'm also talking to you BYD.
I do love the new grill 😊 I own the current H6 HEV and love the front design. The new rear look on this new version I don’t like at all. The cockpit looks clean and clutter free like the teslas but I agree I like the physical climate control buttons.
Hi Iain, A question on another SUV please. Do you know if the new 2025 Hyundai Sante Fe hybrid has had a local suspension tune; especially since they run 20" rims?
They wouldnt.. cos the fuel consumption.. even they equipped 9dct, the official fuel consumption is 8.1L/100km.. With torque converter it will be way over 10-11L/100km and in real life it will be around 13-14L/100km.. in sport mode, it will be 16-17L/100km.. If you were them you dont want to lose buyers from this.. The most biggest headache for all Chinese car manufacturers are.. they cant make a proper reliable economical transmission yet.. most of Chinese car companies still have to import Asin torque converter or ZF dct.. so..
@@JP-hh2qj Not really, VW manages to make efficient drivetrains with an Aisin 8 speed torque converter auto. A DCT is fine for a sports car, for a family SUV spending most of its time in low speed traffic, a DCT is a poor choice.
Our 2021 H6 Ultra has done 40k trouble free driving so far. Its not perfect and requires some refinement with the DSG and some calibration of the cruise control, lane keep and other so called 'safety smarts' but overall a good car. Will be interested to see what the second gen is like, not this facelift.
i was about to buy the current model and then i heard about this motor show and held off, very impressed with the facelift. this is a great car and better than most in the same segment, i work in the auto industry and thought it was one of the best to drive. everything else was underpowered overpriced junk. ive tested them all.
It is so nice seeing the progress the Chines auto companies are making despite all the semiconductor technologies war the West is waging against China. It must be really painful for the US and EU manufacturers.
Nothing new in comparison to the current gen3 except for turned engine and 9 speed DCT. I was hoping that they will make rear reclining seats, tilted front at least driver seat. IMO removing physical buttons for AC control etc is a big step back because using screen is very uncomfortable when you are driving. Let's see what hybrid options they will bring to Australia. I hope the AWD Hi-4 version will be available in AU. 5:36 - hybrid power? Really? I can hear how DCT operates.
First impressions, cream interior 😱!! That would last 5 minutes with my kids, I’ve had to go with black for practicality. That touchscreen looks huge! probably too big and distracting, and I’d like more physical buttons. Logo still looks bang average and needs updating
my over 10 yrs old Mazda CX5 is doing 8.6litres per 100kms and this Haval Hybrid is doing 8.1litres per 100kms? Technology hasnt been kind to Haval at all. Its still gallop plenty of petrol.
Very unsafe having climate controls only on the infotainment system. Amazing how laws prohibit touching a phone but these cars pass safety standards having everything on the infotainment system. Makes no sense.
No wonder BYD is slaying in the Chinese market way ahead of everyone else including GWM. Simply disappointed in this new H6. What BYD is going to launch down under is much more interesting to me like the Sealion 6 PHEV (Seal U in EU market or the Song plus DM-i champion edition in Chinese market)
Nope. Why are all the car manufacturers burying basic controls in screen menus? And the punchline has to be they have intrusive driver’s “assistance “ screaming at you while you’re digging through the screen, trying to turn the seat heater on. No. Just no, Haval. This is a miss. If I wanted a Tesla, I’d buy a bloody Tesla.

I like the front but would have preferred the full length led light across the rear
thanks
I bought the H6 Hybrid a year and a half ago and could not be happier with the product. Extreme value for money.
how would you rate it with RAV4?....and what was the price in Aud you paid?

Wow the lights on the rear of this car looks very nice

Nice front end. I think the 2 row seats can indeed recline.
I love the look of it. I'd be really interested in a PHEV if they decide to bring it to Australia. The MG and Outlander need more competition.
When is the Hybrid PHEV coming to Australia Please

Yeah I am imagining removing those shts as I watch this video 😂
So you mean like Porsche, Volvo, lexus , Tesla , Volvo , Range Rover etc
I've plasti dipped all the badges on my black H6. Hardly visible now..
Who made this rule and why do they have to follow it? Don't see any reason why they actually have to do this.
Ive took em all off except h6..
nice mate can you preview the GT version if you saw it too?

I don’t think I’d ever say this, but the screen looks too big.
A screen can never be too big. Think mercedes Benz where it goes from door to door
Smaller than most
GT still has the best front end....new bigger grille doesn't make it look any better

I will miss the red long strip light at the rear! 😢
Excellent design, and excellent review
Do you have any updates on the PHEV variant and when that is expected to be launched?
Any other colours ? I’ve only seen white silver and a champagne colour .
What are the prospects of going AWD
I hope they replace the DCT with a torque converter auto
better than CVT anyway

thanks
Much beautiful and much futuristic, when can we get it in Pakistan 🇵🇰_???
I have a 2022 model that looked better than this face lifted 2025 model. Good to see the twist gear shift replaced.

2.5L NA?
When the screen goes blank the car doesn’t work , to much reliance of the screen
Never will happen.
The grill is way too big , I hope the hev gets a different look like the current one
What is so brilliant about a touch screen desktop monitor in the middle of the dash. If you wanna play with something stay at home play with yourself.
Would have loved to see more of the screen rather just a shot from the side honestly.
Removing physical buttons is a deal breaker for me.
Can't wait for gt
Blady hell cream roof liner yet again. They need to take what’s in the GT black all the way.
Outclass❤❤❤ somuch beautiful
The car looks luxurious and sophisticated. It's really a game changer although the front grill looks like a Palisade
The old back end configuration was better looking

Haval should address that lower rear bumper it doesn’t resemble with h6 and making it little ugly
making the Ac bottoms on the screen is so bad
the back is too high

It's pronounced Have-vil, like Gravel
I see copy paste from other brands all over the place
😋👏🏼
bit unfortunate that Australian car markete is relatively small otherwise consumer would be on the pro side to enjoy lower cost and better technology.
current one is already good. facelift is meh
I wish they would employ someone who can design a better grill.
Current model is better
Will never buy cars with the climate controls integrated into the screen! #bringbackthebuttons

Upgraded unauthorised listening capabilities on car occupants perhaps
