Great compositional skills right there. Thank you so much for your presentation. Well done. With a bit of tuning there is insane synth potencial on this beast. GG

Hi, It basically uses subtractive synthesis. Some of that knowledge (readily available on TH-cam), a good read of the manual and you’ll be in business ;)

I enjoyed your demo very much... I really like Roland's synth sounds (one of my favorite categories)... I have the XV-3080 which is pretty much the rack version... I had an XV-88 on layaway once, but switched my money to a Yamaha P-200 (they had marked it down to $1500 from $2200 and it was new)... the XV-88 was $3500 and it was also new... I really like the SRX-02 (Concert Grand) even better than SRX-11 (Complete Piano)... my favorite built in acoustic piano sound on the XV-88 is "Nice Piano (A4)"...I like to cut back on the reverb and it's so well sampled... I like to play acoustic piano sounds with no effects... they sound more real and you can really hear how good they sampled the sounds that way... the Smart Media cards hold a ton of banks... I've never filled mine yet... thanks again for your music... it's really nice to hear you on this board!!

Does this have a piano-strings sound on it?

As in the original machine, in the patch at 3:38 (LA Midi'ed Piano), if you enable tone 3 and 4, you can add a pad layer to the piano sound.

@@rm-studios So it's not sample-based...this means it took a massive amount of hours of copy and programming these presets!
