A SPARKLING Tasting "Flight" for Two at GUSBOURNE Vineyard

Last weekend Dan and I attended a sparkling wine-tasting event at Gusbourne Estate Vineyard, a winery based at Appledore, Kent not far from Rye (which is just over the border in East Sussex). This one-hour informal yet informative tasting was a gift from my brother and sister-in law. We sampled Brut Reserve, Rose, Blanc de Blancs and Blanc de Noirs luxurious sparkling wines made in the Champagne style. Gusbourne also produces still wines and all their wines are lovingly crafted from estate-grown fruit from their Sussex and Kent Vineyards.
