- The DIY Backyard homemade skatepark is finally finished. The building process for the last 10 weeks has been unbelievable, we've learned loads, destroyed tools, our fingers, bought endless screws and amounts of wood and timber but the skatepark is finally complete and ready to ride!! I absolutely love the additional features that George and Jake helped up build, the new wall ride and step up section looks amazing for mountain bike and BMX. it's like an endless flow line for tricks and steeze. The moment of truth, how does it ride... enjoy the final build lapse and the riding session.

Loved this Matt, one of the best videos you’ve done for a while. The end of a build can sometimes be anticlimactic and the process of working towards it is normally better but this video smashed expectations. The skate park looks sick, love how it’s challenging to unlock all the lines

at the risk of sounding like pilgrim, that is the ACTUAL dream! imagine not being able to sleep at night so you walk into your own park at 3 am and just crank the tunes and ride, thats outrageous and you deserve it after all the hard work

Honestly I did not think the skatepark would be this good once finished but it actually looks amazing, so many lines in such a small place

May have been said already, but on the open side of your barn, bring roof cladding down from the top to 1 third or half way down. If you want some natural light, make wooden frames and clad with polytunnel plastic down to the floor. Worked a treat on our mini ramp.

The back wall needs a ledge/bridge that sticks out about 18 inches, that way you could jump onto it after taking off from the step up landing and then ride along the ledge/bridge and then drop back into the vert wall. In other words, after you jump the step up, turn around on the quarter wall, you then jump going back the other way onto the ledge, travel the distance from the lip of the step up to the large vert wall. The ledge would be positioned to where it doesn’t interfere with wall rides going up the step up.

Every extra effort with this was completely worth it, came out so much better than I expected, really enjoyable to watch you guys flow through everything, look forward to seeing you hit it regularly on the channel
When I opened up TH-cam and saw how trick this looked my jaw dropped well done guys
Now all it needs is a few logos planted around the place. Also, I think you should pint lines on the edges of each feature so that they stand out even more. Coz having everything the same colour, you can really see the features that well.
Honestly this has been my favorite series to follow. I'm now in the market for a barn.

I want to see a bit of ply screwed to the ceiling above the spine and the challenge is to sticker the roof ply while jumping the spine. Keep these barn vids coming!
You should build a curved ride up to the side wall, kinda like an mtb berm, then add kickers on the side to launch you sideways into the megaramp

Tbh although my skills are an inkling I’m comparison to any of you guys I whole heartedly love this channel. Would love to see you DIY some sound panels for the ceiling! A few half sheets of ply and some insulation should make a pretty good difference.

Really pleased for you guys, the Playground is perfect, maybe you need to clad(enclose) the opening or section the curtain into strips and/or overlap so I doesn't take the wind,a bit like windproof umbrellas use

Don't know if it's feasible or worth it, but maybe consider adding some sound dampening stuff everywhere to reduce echo/reverb ?
I want to see you boost the vert wall to an inverted double tire on the ceiling and, somehow, roll out back to transition. I have never seen anyone, in any action sport, do an inverted double tire on a ceiling. That setup is perfect for it.
I could watch that all day! Would sure like to be there to give it a go!
That build lapse on the 360° camera was particularly sick. Cant wait to see the progression that happens in that barn, including the solution to the inside / outside barrier problem. Maybe some kind of accordion door shutter type thing?

Such a fun video. The transfer line looks so smooth. I would consider switching to composite pedals, to protect the ply. Metal bike bits, are a nightmare for gouging bits out of woodwork.

I gotta say i was excited for the journey to build it just as I am for the playground. What I will say is in the beginning I wasn't super pumped for your vision and I had other ideas however after seeing it completed and you riding it I concede i was dead wrong. I can't really think of any change to it that would improve it. Great work as always.
