    Perfect timing again with the TH-cam algorithm. I have been working on this for the past week and then this video comes along and puts it in very concise pieces of movements. This is Great Eric. Thanks again for a very valuable video. Awesome!

    Another great one. Less effort is crucial for me as a new guy who is trying to apply the rest of the great tips but still swinging out of my shoes. Hopefully this will help bring it together. Thanks!

    That pressing down with the right foot I got advised at my last lesson
    Reason I got was to keep my head more still and reducing my sway back
    By pushing that foot into the ground it is a lot harder to move your head out of the "circle"

    Great for me. I have a slow tempo and need to find as much distance as I can find!!!

    Great video Eric, your videos have really helped my game, my scores are going lower and lower…so close to breaking 80. By the way, I see you’re wearing True Linkswear shoes, I have those same ones, and I love them.

    Great video would you do this with irons and wedges too or just driver for power.

      Thanks!
      You can if you are looking for more distance yes.

      @@CogornoGolf proper force transfer is needed for every shot , cept maybe short "feel" wedges. But every stock shot pressure has to back early and forward early thx

    Hey Eric, subbed, thanks for helping me hit my irons far this season! Could you please do a video on getting the perfect distance between the ball and feet for consistency?

    Another good one, thanks! Question: Same feel for irons or no?

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, Kyle!
      You CAN.
      There will be earlier folding of the trail arm and wrist hinge for most..
      I would do this mainly with driver.

    Great video Eric, i played 9 holes yesterday late afternoon, the driver is always the club i struggle with, that bump and toss back apart from one miss hit gave me the longest drives in year's on the other 4 holes i used driver, probably gained 15-20 valuable yard's, much needed as a senior

      Love it! Thats part of why I like these moves in terms of distance bc its so immediate

    Do you feel this can be used with all clubs or just the driver? Does Rory do it through set? Or just driver ? Thank you again

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You COULD do it through the bag but this would be mainly driver
      Rory hinged more earlier with irons (which is common)

    Eric - Great video. What do you think about starting with a bit more weight on the lead side in order to get more mass going back into the press? Normally feel 50/50 with driver, but maybe 60 lead / 40 back if you’re looking to maximize power?

      Hey Steve--thanks!
      I like it! A press off the left onto the right is a good trigger!

    Hi, Eric. Could you do this with a 3 or 5 wood, too? Or is this just for driver?

    • @CogornoGolf

      Hey Stevie!
      Yes you could.

    Will setting the wrists too early cut down on the width? Rory appears to have set his wrists almost at the very top of his swing.

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes....you do not want to set early. You want a let set (if distance is your goal)
      Right arm should be wide and the wrist very little hinge

    Great video and hopefully something that will help this septuagenarian. I always want to use less effort and at this stage of my game I want to stop the continuing loss of distance. I also noticed that you didn’t leave a phone number below your video.

    If the ball is at 12 o’clock, where do you feel you are tossing the club in follow through? 8 o’clock?
