These are hands down my go to headphones i listen to rap and rock music both sound Amazing with these. The bass is amazing sound is great loud and clear for the price you can’t go wrong.

I got sony mdr xbr30e earphone and using this for 3 years now. Don't know if still in the market but am telling you, this is the best and superb xtra bass i'v ever heard.
I just got mine yesterday and enjoying it better than my Samsung or Pixel.
mine have arrived and I've been tuning them and this is my review… Yes the base is wonderful midrange is okay but the high-end is a problem… The high-end comes off the top of the midrange and it just spikes not smooth at all. You can tune this out with the equalizer but it does affect the top midrange a tad too much but after the equalizer it's acceptable. After the equalizer you will absolutely like the sound they produce if you like base it is very good crisp and low… Now what's even better is the build quality. They fit so nice they're so comfortable the wires never tangle that flat wire system is amazing. The button for mute and changing tracks is great. Overall the sound is not as smooth as I was hoping but quite fun with a punch to them. $45 is what I paid I don't find that a really great price but the build quality actually pushed it over. I think you will be satisfied with these headphones and I would definitely recommend them. if you've made it this far thanks for reading good luck if you purchase them they will satisfy

These ear buds are so loud I love them I got 2 blue pairs and 1 black pair
I got the Xb earbuds, blue, 99 $ Canadian, pretty great. These are 39 $ Canadian now. Might get these too.
Yeah had theys sound awesome the Blue black ones watch thor Ragnarok on ps4 with theys was terrific mind blown for some earb uds!

Maybe you just got a bad pair. Mine has a lot of bass and they are really loud.
