GRS Sporter is an unusually adjustable general purpose wood laminate stock available in many inlet and color variations. The most interesting part is arguable the really well thought out grip configuration.

I have 5 of these stocks, on everything from .22 LR to 300 H&H. They are amazing. Customer service this the best in the business. The Sporter version is the best, in my opinion. My next configuration will be on a .338 Win Mag Tikka.
Magnum cartridges must be glass bedded.

What do you think of the Anschutz vs your usual T1x?
I'm wanting to upgrade from the T1x and not convinced I want to go the Vudoo/RimX route, the 1710 or even the 1727 stand out as an obvious choice and the barreled actions aren't badly priced considering what they are.

That depends on what kind of shooting you do. For longer distances, I am not convinced Anschutz is the way to go. There seems to be a good amount of evidence that once you get to 200 yards and out, Vudoo/RimX/etc are better. Personally, if I decide to invest into another high end rimfire, from what I have seen to date, there is a 95% chance I'll get a Vudoo. In terms of best for the money, that is probably still a T1X.

@@DarkLordOfOptics Thanks, the Vudoos do seem to shoot ridicuously well at longer ranges. Primarily looking for a PRS/NRL rifle, I don't really enjoy long range 22lr but 200-300yards/meters is common in competitions. I'd like to try out a 1727 for such competitions but I like Vudoo probably is the way to go.

The CZ 457 is a great option. It’s a switch barrel, and several manufacturers make barrels in .17 HMR, .22 LR and .22 WMR, in various lengths. I like it better than the Tikka and the Bergara.

@@falba1492 CZ457 is a nice rifle. With factory barrels I somewhat prefer the T1X and I tend to see good accuracy a little more consistently with the Tikka. Once aftermarket barrel are in play, of course, all bets are off.

@@DarkLordOfOptics CZ has a match barrel that shoots a little better than the Tikka. I’ve used a Proof barrel, and that has been lights out, the best results I’ve had. My friend shoots a Lilja, half the price, 90% as good.
