Placement year is where a student can get a chance to work in the UK for probably 6-12 months(that depends on the University curriculum) It will be very useful further in career having a UK work experience

That depends on the location you choose to stay. Around london it would be 350-450 gbp per person and outside london 250-350gbp

You have to decide it before paying the fees. You cannot cancel once enrolled into a program until and unless if you have a valid reason
