Thank you for kind words))) we buy oil colors, canvases and paper ourselves, academy provides us one box of oil colors at the end of each year) academy pays the models, but if we need extra time - then we pay, but its very small amount of money so its okay)

Te melyik festőt szereted legjobban a hazádban?
My favorite Russian artist is Serov, I think… He was student of Ilya Repin Yes, they used models, but I know that Plastov, very famous soviet artist, has very good anatomy knowledge so he could paint people from his imagination)
Are the classes mostly in English or in Russian? Really want to study fine art there someday 🥹 hoping to pursue a postgraduate there as an international student from Philippines 🙏
for an international student do you have to speak russian fluently to attend this school? also are there dorms to live in or do you have to look for your own place to stay?
@@ksyelf5820 In America the government doesn’t recommend for Americans to travel there bc they are strict on American travelers and with the war in Ukraine and all, idk how it safe is near the borders. On top of that they don’t accept American debit and credit cards anymore. Hopefully things will get better by the time I graduate High school.

Quick question, how much time does it take for you to complete a full drawing (like the ones at 3:29) ?
we draw five days a week for an hour and a half, so one drawing takes about one and a half week

Hey) I use whatman paper, moisten it with water from a spray bottle and stretch it, after drying it is perfectly flat
