Prague Walking Tour: To Charles Bridge From The City Gate And Old Town Square In Early Morning

For the whole day right through to late at night, Prague Old Town is thronging with tourists. Here is an opportunity to see the beauty of Prague Old Town without being blocked by thousands of people. I took a very early morning walk before all the tourists descended. I start off at the old city gate, Prašná brána, and walk through Celetná to the Old Town Square where you can see the Church of Our Lady before Týn, Chrám Matky Boží před Týnem, and the Astronomical Clock, Pražský orloj. The walk then continues along Karlova and onto the beautiful Charles Bridge, Karlův most, which crosses the Vltava river. There are still people there at 6:30 in the morning but a lot fewer than normal!
