In 2022 I went to Waking Life festival in Portugal and heard DJRUM play for 3 hours at a really cool stage with a solid sound system. Those who know, know - he's an unbelievable DJ and selector, people's heads were blown away left and right. It was the best DJ set I've ever heard, no exaggerations. At the peak of this ridiculous set, I've heard the blissful voice and pads of this track coming in and I knew that it was gonna be something special for him to drop his own tune at the peak of his set - the entire stage area felt that there was something really special coming in before the drop - and when it dropped, it absolutely melted everyone away. Out of all the outstanding music he played, his track just sounded the fucking best and biggest and got the biggest reaction out of everyone. It was such an epic moment that I'll cherish it forever. DJRUM is special and this was a phenomenal embodiment of the level this guy is on.
just discovered this song through a mix on another video and had my mind blown just listening to it in my room on speakers, can't IMAGINE how sick it must have been to hear it in person as the climax of a set! i'm so jealous!
Sounds like a tune from the older need for speed titles. Pretty awesome to have a super fast beat and then those extremely nice atmospherics in the back. This is awesome.
My mind can't decide weather to slow this down for a techno set i'm putting together, start a dnb set or throw some hardcore classics behind it. Just sayin... amazing track!!!
I don't think it's what you're looking for but everytime I listen to this song I'm reminded of the greatness that is Phylyps track.. and the emotional female vocals kinda remind me of HVOB Bruise.. none of them are really similar but yeah .. if anyone else got some cool recs I'm also interested 😮
This masterpiece could define a new musical genre i think. I hope it will inspire some artists. And if someone knows some similare tunes, please share them.
@Nicholas Ryan To be honest, i dont like the djrum track that much. But for dreamy tracks try music from Curley. This sounds were big in the 90's/00's at illegal warehousepartys in The Netherlands and beyond: th-cam.com/video/bddhD9TRW00/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/MNYot_UhEd8/w-d-xo.html
@@synqFPS i dunno dude have you listened to any real trance/prog trance - pre supersaw era. There was a lot of good ambient euphoric shit being released back then. Check james holdens early stuff or guys like slacker
This song makes me cry each time I listen to it. It is a perfect mix of desperation and hope.

I don't know how this guy isn't more well known. He's been putting out really unique bangers for a while now. And they're definitely BANGERS
His time is coming now. He's the complete package, excellent DJ and unique producer.
this guy... best producer atm. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD
yes.
I think this EP just writes electronic music history.
LEGENDARY
It's criminal how little listens this has. Literal waves of shivers throughout my body every time I listen.
Can i just say this is one of the most beautiful tracks I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Not listening - experiencing.
This track is in a league of its own. Goosebumps all over listening to this. If I heard this in a party, I would lose my shit.

It´s too hard to find a place in any set..

@@Ciya96 disagree, cut a track mid set set and lay this bad boy down.. Did you play it in the Techno set?
This and ultrakill together is the most dopamine producing combo in the universe.

Haha there's al whole genre of this. Start with spiral tribe and mononom, back from the 90's, and take it from there. Have a nice listen :)
B Bok ahah i am a big fan of both of them. . I admit there some same vibe, reminds me Chip Jockey 2 by 69db but i think it’s quite different.

Sonics 110174 album on Western Lore is very similar vibe! Response and Pliskin's "we're all disturbed" EP as well!!
