I enlisted at 17...I had a son on the way...By the time I got home I was pushing 20..This was back in 05-06..Then I got deployed. No special parade or nothing after the 1st...But I got to hug my wife and son at the airport and it was the best thing ever. I still remember the perfume my wife was wearing. To this day she still has it
