I having served King and country (Sweden, 1996/97), I certainly can realate to this footage...I would NOT have been the same person if did not undergo national service!! P.S. Ye late queen and our present King Carl XVI Gustav [double]3rd cousins. D.S.

I don't know where you are from, or how old you are, but in the UK those fabric flowers are fabric, paper or metal poppies and we call them remembrance poppies for remembering the fallen soldiers and also showing support for the military and that's what these vets were selling. we wear them as a sign of respect, especially around November 11th, which is armistice day.

The commentary is inaccurate, irritating and you really need to do some research. The 'veteran' being bitten by the horse is a currently serving Corporal of horse CoH. Not all older people are 'veterans', currently serving older military personnel aren't classed as veterans!
