Every InI knows that the authenticity of Ras Tafari is in the livity and everyI strives to reach Christ consciousness. Haile Selassie was not a born again Christian he was part of the orthodox church. Now as for Rastafari we do not have to be the same churchical order as the Emperor. We have our own traditions and belief system born from our struggle.

We must not forget Bob Marley made Selassie his God all through out the upbringing Rastafarian movement it was until the Ethiopian orthrodox church came in and witness to him about Yeshua Hamashiac and he accepted Christ and transitioned into eternity.
Even if he didn’t turn Christian he still would’ve been remembered. It was Rastafari that gave him his glory and not Christianity. No one remembers anything he said or done as a Christian. Let’s be honest now.

The Gospels makes it clear that throughout his career Jesus was the rock star of first-century Judea,
We are told that he went throughout the region performing miracles, healing the sick and casting out demons,
and that he and his entourage were followed by great multitudes of people ? So, Why don't we know the
Actual date that Jesus was born, Or the actual date ( or the year ) that he allegedly died ? if he was a real
person, walking on earth as we're led to believe, Why is there no historical records of him ? Do some research
And tell me if you can find him in the historical records ?

The purpose of John’s gospel account was to prove the deity of Christ in order to elicit an obedient belief. Christ claims are proven by our belief and actions

What I have come to learn and respect amongst Rasta is that Haile Selassie I has become a mediator to InI the same way Christ Jesus is to a Christian be it Biblical or un Biblical it's a reality many Rasta live and we must learn to be tolerant because God is still the creator of us all if I wouldn't cast judgments on Hindu or Muslim why my own brother in the same RasTafari love and faith.

I do see the Biblical Hebraic roots of rastafarism. More specifically I see the rules of the Nazirite vow followed by many who claim rastafarism (old school rastas).
Like many things of this world, I believe the root of all beliefs stem back to the Bible. Man has taken it upon themselves to alter the Word of Elohim by adding or taking away what they want, thus creating numerous different beliefs, religions and ideologies etc. and these things then make an “appearance” of truth, when in fact there is only One True and undefiled Way of Life (John 14:6, Matthew 7:14, Acts 24:14).
Priest Tafari (respectfully High Priest is for our High Priest the Messiah), brought up some great points about the deception many people use by forcing selassie as the Messiah.
And Great Owl made a great point that if selassie is someone’s king and “god” that they should be following the laws/commandments of his, but many don’t.
The only High Priest and King we should be following is the one who came in The Father’s name, Yahusha.
Does China exist in your world. One of the oldest continuous civilizations and has never had any noticeable Christian or Jewish influence. You aren’t the main character of the universe and not everyone is a follower of Abrahamic religion.

And though there’s groups of religions that closely resemble Biblical principles, there’s also groups of religions that resembles what TMH commanded us not to do. So if rastafari roots is in Garvey (who believed and followed God and The Bible) then the foundation/roots of rastafari are God and The Bible.
Haile Selassie also believed in the Bible, Jesus Christ, Christianity. So if you’re following him as Messiah he’s teachings point to the Bible. He also seemingly denied his position as Messiah in an interview.
The problem is man can’t choose, it is up to The Most High Creator to appoint and anoint people in positions. Rastafari is not the root, it’s a branch of the Bible just like many other man made religions. It wasn’t around during the beginning of the earth and is less than 100 years old.

I often wonder what Christ people are Talking about? Is it the Man or the Spirit. How many have seen the Christ? Christ is not a man it's an anointment which is internal to all man. We have to put on the Christ mind which is an energy of spirit that ascends and resurrect within. Most people that Call Christ it appears to be a password because of some form of previous indoctrination. Do research Christ=Ka=Spirit=Energy. Rastafari was not created to follow the kings religion, it was created to free Afrikan ppl. We don't need bible to adopt a powerful and confident mindset about ourselves. Also there is no one Higher in Rastafari than Haile Selassie, not yahweh or jesus, whether he is seen as God, a Messiah or a Great King. If you say Jesus/Yashua then you're a christian.
