I know of a Ghanaian brother in the medical industry who has patents and faced discrimination in the USA. He now has his own company and doing very well for himself.
Camron, please keep this record on your flash drives too for the next generation.
My goodness, l watched this interview this morning, l was wondering when it was recorded... 4 hours later l heard about the demise of Dr Mensah.. Am in total shock, lve been watching BBC and CNN all day, one will think it will be a news item.. But nooo
This man with his ingenuity has impacted all our life's,He happens to be a black man so it's not necessary.
Yeah, unnoticed as usual 😂
Dr Thomas Mensah, Africa and the Black ⚫️ race are proud of you 👏🏿 🥰 💛 🎉
This Man is a gift not only to Ghana and Africa but to the entire World, Hallelujah Glory to God
He was a brilliant man with a witty sense of humor and the strong desire to see Ghana advance.
So glad you captured this moment in time 🙏🏿
The greatest book ever. It should be kept for future generations
God bless you, Papa Thomas
Teaching me about this great inventor enriches my understanding of the wider African family I have had the pleasure of joining through marriage to my Igbo wife from Abia state.
In fact I'm so sad that this great man couldn't see all that his heart wanted to see in his own country Ghana, May his soul rest in the bossom of father Abraham. I learned one thing from him and that is "believe in God first and believe in yourself that you can do it". May Almighty God give us another person like him. Now I a pray to all Ghanaians that anyone who has the resources to finance that little brilliant boy Owura should do so, please because my mind is cast on him now as he can become of these investors.
Honoring This Brilliant Man From Ghana! I have spoken about him many times!!
Rest In Peace! Thank You For Your Obedience Unto Our Creator To Fulfill Your Purpose On Earth!!!
My thoughts on this::
These are downloads from TMH, he is so humble. When other races claimed to have created anything, they never included others. They always boast of their abilities alone, even if they stole the ideas from someone else. Even though these other people he mentioned did contributed but he was the ultimate contributor, without him they would be still trying to figure it out. Remember, that these ones took 15 years, he was able to complete the mission within one year!!!! Famili, 😢 oneday we will get the credit and recognition as we well deseve!!!!

May his soul Rest In Peace 😭
so sad. with all the knowlege Ghana didn't adequately prepare herself to embrace one of her one. Rest well Doc!
His life story deserves a movie. RIP Dr Mensah
Please he is not dead infact this is how he looks now
@@zoeyamponsah3736 I know it’s too hard to believe but he passed on 27th March 2024.
Excellent interview, Jay! 👑
It is so good to have this to share with the world. ❤
Wow!!! I pray Dr. Mensah duplicated himself 100 x 100. It would be a same not to see more brilliance and intelligence come from this man’s mind by identifying youth and young adults to invent , patent and manufacture within Ghana to build Ghana. Enough of the brain drain of Ghana and all of Africa.
.
His mind was sharp and still too young to go. I pray nothing devious happened to take this brilliant man away. We all know the routine as to how they unalive our greats. His legacy needs to live on! Silicon Valley of Ghana!!! How do we help see this legacy of learning, inventing, patenting and manufacturing come life or continue. We need to protect our people of greatness!
This elderly gentleman can pass on a lot of information to the young African youth and help them to develop themselves and be more beneficial to humanity as whole.
RIP Dr Mensah.
Chill with your negative energy!!
@section8ight174 Nothing negative about this...

Thank you for bringing these to the World attention ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Rest in power great one. Your great works abide forever
Awake in Power Dr. Mensah. Met him 20 years ago at his ATL office. He was so unassuming and one of too many of our hidden figures. We talk about his fiber optics work but from memory, his works spanned the smart bomb and stealth technologies used by the US Airforce planes etc A remarkable mind and definitely under-celebrated within our culture - which is currently filled with too much hype and not enough attention and value on the substantive things.
Let’s keep talking about him like they talk about Elon who in terms of actual patented invention, can’t walk in this man’s shoes - need to see 1,000 videos and stories of him.
….great interview JC….I see he touched on the smart/guided bomb technology…my comment came as soon as the video launched. Was shocked about his transition which I found out through your vid 🙏🏿🇬🇭🇯🇲
the man reminded me of Ackah Blay Miezah so much
INGRID BEST. is black American woman build wine Emipre in Southafrica , 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🤗🤗😜🤗🤗🤗😇😇😇😇
Rest in perfect peace Dr Thomas Mensah

RIP 🪦 Dr Mensah😢
rest in peace
Am even sad and angry and don't wanna finish watching this videos because it breaks my heart, black man working for free, another ghanaian working in NASA for free
What pains is that, Ghanaians and Africa as whole didn't take advantage of him . I guess it was due to politics. Dr may your soul Rest In Peace .
@@ackahkofiefrancis4289This is it my brother. He wanted to do a lot in Ghana but the people in charge stopped him. He was meant to bring speed trains to Ghana. As long as the governments in Ghana continue to be puppets, there will never be progress
@@positivevibes2406 say it again my bro .
With all due respect he did not invent fiber optics.....He improved on the existing technology and made it more feasible for widespread use.
Interestingly majority of world doesn’t know that the world most revolutionary tech was developed by a black man
Big lose for ghana and the black world. Ghana has to bring the speed train for his vision for a developed ghana.
What happened to this man?
He passed? So what of his idea of bringing the spotlight to Ghana?
He established a school in Ghana to teach young and upcoming engineers
With due respect, did he talks about himself in a business point of view, trying taken over his patterns and making money and royalties like macro soft getting from every phone or network companies, 😢😢
Please restate your comment.
