    High precision History Destroyer!
    Although it's sad to see it go i will definately enjoy getting home in 15 minutes from a game rather then 2 hours.

    Great video and seeing my favourite machine was on site the PC 1250 aka (Jaws) working it's magic all the high reach while the other excavators demolish other buildings and clear and sort rubble and recyclable items. We done to McMahon services done a absolutely fantastic with the demolition work.

    It's just a shame more time couldn't be taken to salvage all the seats to go to more local clubs. Though some were salvaged, demand far outweighed the supply & it would have been a great legacy for the 'old' Adelaide Oval.

    (Sarcasm) Why didn't they fly a jet aircraft into it and it would have fallen down from the heat of kerosene-based-jet fuel?

    I always considered that the Bradman stand looked old and knocking it down and building a new one was better.

    It looks great now, but don’t understand why they had to demolish so much of what the original was , it wasn’t that baf

    They shouldn't have re done it. The oval looked perfect with the Sir Donald Bradman Stand, and the Chappell stands. Adelaide Oval looks shit now.

    Such a waste of money for the South Australian Government! They already had a good stadium at West Lakes, then they had to go and spend 600M to do this to Adelaide Oval, and the public transport in the city can't cope with influx of people into the new Adelaide Oval before and after each AFL game there!

    • @zaco21_
      @zaco21_ 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      John Jerram they did it because it was near the City and would get more fans to go to games more
      Footy park had no Transportation except Buses
      Adelaide Oval has Trams,Trains and buses etc
      But I reckon port should’ve stayed at Footy park because it is near Port Adelaide

    They should knock down the old scoreboards too. It'd be better having the whole stadium nice and even, and not one end half-done.

      ferret406 Fuck off its now one of the best Venues in Australia
      So would rather stay it as a Stadium that will have been on the bottom of the AFL venue list.
      Besides Crows and Port moved because it was closer to the city, even know port should’ve stayed there because it’s near Port Adelaide anyway
