I dont see why i would choose XUV400 over Nexon EV, Yes this is more Robust and better to drive But they missed a good opportunity to surpass Nexon EV in terms of features as they had time to study market and include things that Tata is lacking.

If both have similar real-world range the Mahindra may be the better choice for family. Otherwise the Nexon EV may cover most needs. We hope Mahindra prices the XUV400 competitively

I feel most important feature of an EV is the range and efficiency for the same price.

@@ravishankars6707 yes with the current state of infrastructure and charge density that is a big factor in this segment

      Very true!
What decides Mahindra vs Tata is clearly After Sales Support and quality of the vehicle. Everything cannot be decided on youtube unfortunately as Maruti has proven again and again.

For EVs charging infrastructure is the problem Not the range. Range will always be limited, just like how like much patrol car take you on full tank. I don't see the infrastructure will get better anytime soon in India. State Government gets most of its tax from Petroleum and Oil companies are one of the biggest in the world.

This vehicle has few negatives but they are major negatives.. especially inside the vehicle… no rear AC, outdated infotainment, no automatic AC control, no dual zone AC similar to xuv3OO, no auto dimming ORVM, no telescopic steering, no proper charger options, no charging options in rear seat.. nexon ev max looks much better option .

Please choose presenter wisely. The car itself is very interesting , but the presenter is presenting in such a blown away phase.

Apologies but we were short on time during the shoot.

+1, nothing on extra boot space, ingress egress, under the hood, safety features, infotainment feature, charging cycle and lot many other things. I would suggest legacy channels to be humble and take a leaf out of newer channels like v3cars and gagan chowdhary. This is an important car but presented in a way as if just another facelift for xuv300

Hi we've covered most of the information you just mentioned. Can you explain further what exactly was missing on those fronts. We'll try to do better next time.

Wait so you showed soo many EVs recently, and an EV variant is what you’re
going to show? And release in Jan 2023? Good job, Mahindra.

Without multi-mode regen, rear ac vents, and ventilated seats I will never consider this car.

Good job Mahindra in making me realize that the other competitors have far
better features than your car has.

I feel like mahindra is still stuck with its old technology and on the other side tata evs are making some really good progress in technology.

Ev and Tata is the best combination ever!!! Kyuki inke pass ventilated seats, air purifier, and rear ac vents hai jo tumhare gaadi mai nahi hai.

An SUV, that’s designed to take the beaten path without Hill Descent Assist? Atleast it should have some safety features!

No air purifier? Speaking of cleaning the environment, we can’t even keep the air inside our EVs clean.

Wow Tata a HARMAN infotainment system, super cool! What brand does XUV400’s infotainment system has? Wait, NONE, isn't it?

Unveil a car, have a media drive with half-hearted tech and expect customers to buy the car six months later. Can’t wait that long.

Can we even call it a premium car with such basic features.

  • @hardikpandya4408

Looking at the car, I’m sure the XUV won’t be a car under 16L, buy no ventilated seats at that price? Not even as an option, now that’s a big big bummer Mahindra.
