The people who are on his side need to be studied, it's wild. They must have some serious issues to give this guy money and then walk on egg shells trying to please someone who can't be pleased. I actually went onto one of her streams and she's fought a gief and a Jamie and won both of her matches with style ,girl is the literal opposite of ltg ,she doesn't bad mouth her opponents and doesn't insult her chat . Glad she's so cool.

I can see that...I just think for him it's an act. He's not really folding he's just dropping character. He gets more attention from being the bad guy so he leans into it. But irl he's laid back and chill so when approached in real life he's chill. I've heard this from many people who've run into him at events and what not over the years...everyone says he's cool and quiet. I think he himself even said when he's playing street fighter he's a different person.

I treat LTG as a persona, not a real person when he's live. I know people crave for "real interaction" online, but that's just not how I see LTG. When I tune in to his channel, I expect LTG to act the way LTG is. If I were to meet him in real life, I wouldn't press him to stay in his LTG form and I sure as hell wouldn't call that "folding". It's good that he doesn't do that. He knows he's playing a character and I, as a viewer, am very entertained by his LTG act. It's all a show and that is completely fine.

The appeal of hate-watching is in the anticipation that something bad will happen to whatever you're watching. In LTG's case, that's usually salty rants, embarrassing gameplay, and rage-quits. Trolls get a laugh out of the fact that _they're_ the ones to make the bad things happen.
LTG is such an engaging lolcow because he deserves all of the shit that he gets, and he feeds the trolls regularly. If he were a more respectful person, or wasn't racist/homophobic/transphobic, or learned to drop his ego, I don't think people wouldn't be watching his clips except dedicated trolls and actual fans.
