A new Album is coming out in the latter part of 2023 and it will probably coincide with a world tour and, you know what's going to happen. This _is_ what you needed if you wanted to relax. Angelina has said that her dream is to "spread love to the whole world with music", and she does have the power to do that. When she sings, she just pulls you into her world for a couple minutes. She has such a natural style of singing that you never feel like she is trying to sell you her performance. She just feels it and expresses it. It's what draws you in and makes you forget about the rest of the world while she sings. And the band.... This band that she played with in 2017 was one of the best I have seen her with. She did amazing stuff with the full orchestra in 2018, but this band seems much more fitting to her style. But really, she can sing acapella, with a full orchestra, or any combination in between.
Hello Rusty!! I feel blessed that Angelina now lives in the Los Angeles area and so I can easily see her perform if and when covid19 calms down and we can once again live music. I hope she still lives here.
This is an old song from 1953... The best version was sung by Julie London back in '55 and this girls really does a credible job giving it the same feeling Julie did way back then... This is from the soundtrack of my youth so keep bringing us these wonderful songs!!

Hi Marie, Nice reaction to Angie as always, thank you. Your right Angie was 11 here. Angie did a lot of good songs on that outside concert. You should react to those songs she sangs from it. (You call it magic) & Angie's 1st CD she put out when she was young was called "It's Magic" & you can still buy it & you should. Remember Angie never sings a song the same way twice. =)
Usually I am more of a metal or hard rock listener, but since late last year when I discovered Angelina her music turned into my go-to when I want to calm down or relax. This song shows exactly why. It's not especially high or low, there are no especially difficult runs or super "big" parts (even though Angelina can do that, no problem). It's just relaxing and full of emotion and feeling, each note how it's supposed to be in that moment. You can absolutely lose yourself in it.

Yeah, that's performance was so wonderful and she changed it quite a lot from the classic version. She's so creative and stylish with HOW she sings the song. Her voice on its own is so beautiful but she also knows how to use it to paint a picture full of texture and emotions. It is Mozart levels of genius.
She is one of the most instinctive singers I've ever listened to. She hears a whole different set of notes than we do. She has to be able to run the notes that are there and the notes that come up in her head as she listens, or sings along. I would love to be able to sit in there and see exactly what happens. In the end what we get is spectacular. Her ease of delivery belies the work she puts into a performance ready song so that it comes out just the way she hears it. This one in no different. I am not sure how old she was here it looks from everything that she was 11-12 years old but I could be wrong. Whatever the case may be she can sing the heck out of a song. Sometimes I will chase a new singer or two and it will have been some time since I have heard Angelina, then I listen to her sing a song like this and I wonder why it has taken me so long to get back to her. I'm listening for the second time through and the tears in my eyes let me know just how special she is. The fact that these are live performances just high lights how talented she is and the hard work she puts in. She is already a great singer (not only physically, at 14 she approaches 1.85 m (6'2")! ) But she has everything to become the greatest jazz singer of all time,, because of her ability to put on soul in everything she interprets. When one can sing this song as she does at 11, what will she be at 20? (she will then already have 13 years of "career"!)

This is one of my all-time favorite Angelina covers. It is so smooth & sophisticated & the trombone player really had his moment in the sun. She puts on a master class in smooth, understated jazz & the fact that she is only 11 here, totally blows my mind.

Angelina makes a mind blowing performance with this song and the band can feel it happening. She sets the atmosphere for the song with the inflection and crystal clear voice of her opening phrase. I'm not sure if you've noticed it, but the way *_Lasse Weeden_*_ (bass)_ and *_Sigurd Evensen_*_ (trombone)_ look at Angelina, then at each other and then starts smiling and shaking their heads is saying a lot. I share your feelings about the reactions I have to her music. I genuinely believe that listening to her various performance daily has helped me through separation from my family that this pandemic has caused. I too live alone, and at 75 with numerous health issues, I'm not interested in a relationship. The hardest part is being separated from my two local granddaughters who live 85 miles away. We use Zoom every other week to share a game or something with my son who is 3000 miles away and another granddaughter who is 1500 miles away. I enjoy listening to your reactions, and I think your English is improving.

You're so right! Angelina has a very rare quality in how she sings that, no matter what she sings, she's able to transmit that relaxing, ease and calm sensation to the listener. Her power resides not on high notes or big bands, no gimmicks. Just her singing with a guitar, piano or a small ensemble. That's all that she needs to grab your soul. When I listen to her singing these classics, with that type of accompaniment from those musicians, I can picture myself sitting at a bar in New Orleans maybe in the 50s, lol. Since I started listening to her sing back in 2014 my blood pressure has dropped dramatically, my headaches have gone away, and she has made me practically stress free, even with all we have going around us She is my daily dose of happiness. There is magic in that velvet voice.

I know that I enjoy your reactions very much, and they lift my spirits especially in combination with the magic Angelina brings. This is definitely a much more jazz version of this classic with an excellent band that Angelina played with in concerts that summer. Angelina is truly extraordinary for the vocal quality of her warm and slow voice, it is an extraordinary performance with a very nice interaction between Angelina's voice and the band's instruments create a real jam session with Angelina at the center. If you prefer a version with a better sound you can listen to the studio version on her album "It's Magic"
Angelina makes a mind blowing performance with this song and the band can feel it happening. She sets the atmosphere for the song with the inflection and crystal clear voice of her opening phrase. I'm not sure if you've noticed it, but the way *_Lasse Weeden_*_ (bass)_ and *_Sigurd Evensen_*_ (trombone)_ look at Angelina, then at each other and then starts smiling and shaking their heads is saying a lot. Big round of applause, by the way, to _Sigurd Evensen_ for his delicate and perceptive interaction with Angelina and the way he was _crying a river_ on his _trombone._

I share your feelings about the reactions I have to her music. I genuinely believe that listening to her various performance daily has helped me through separation from my family that this pandemic has caused. I too live alone, and at 75 with numerous health issues, I'm not interested in a relationship. The hardest part is being separated from my two local granddaughters who live 85 miles away. We use Zoom every other week to share a game or something with my son who is 3000 miles away and another granddaughter who is 1500 miles away. I enjoy listening to your reactions, and I think your English is improving.

Have you ever heard Grace VanderWaal sing? She is 16 years old now, but she started with 12 winning AGT in 2016. She has a great voice and writes her own songs. She only sung originals at AGT! She is very different to Angelina, but also very amazing!

You're so right! Angelina has a very rare quality in how she sings that, no matter what she sings, she's able to transmit that relaxing, ease and calm sensation to the listener.
Her power resides not on high notes or big bands, no gimmicks. Just her singing with a guitar, piano or a small ensemble. That's all that she needs to grab your soul.
When I listen to her singing these classics, with that type of accompaniment from those musicians, I can picture myself sitting at a bar in New Orleans maybe in the 50s, lol.
