Great job! I’m just starting to airbrush and hope to one day be almost as good as you are! I’ve been watching your videos and have learned a lot. Keep up the great work! I really enjoy your work!!
I can't remember if I have ever thanked you for starting me on my new obsession of airbrushing because of you I have been invited to Mike Lavallee's Monster Bash this year in September I will definitely be posting photos from Snohomish I never thought at the start of my journey that I would ever be invited to paint with a legend like Mike this is all due to you & Megan THANK YOU
Thanks Craig for your comment really appreciate it and so glad to hear you have been invited to this years Monster Bash, I don’t think I will be able to make it but I know Rod from East Coast airbrushing is going , have fun 👍🏼
I've watched a number of your videos...excellent results (Createx is a good paint, as is House of Kolor). Our 'styles' differ, so I still cringe sometimes when I watch you 'mid project'...which leads me to something I've noticed...and have a question about: When you mix in reducer, are you mixing (as on label, 10%), or 1:1, or 70/30...or do you vary depending on some unmentioned factor? Also, is reducer all you use...or do you also use extenders at all? When you use reducers, do you have a favorite (such as 4011, 4013, etc.)? You cover a LOT of your 'art process', and that's great for beginners getting into airbrushing acrylics...but from someone who loves motorcycles (and all the nuances of tank and helmet art...from pinstripes to basketweaves to starbursts, etc.), I always want to hear the input on 'the seldom mentioned' items from others, as to what their 'real method to the madness' is...and why they make some of the choices they do (preferred sanding grit, why courser on ABS plastics than hardshell polymers...why 'superfine' (up to 1200 grit) on metals...I've learned a LOT about 'stabilizing art' in such environments and inputs (such as ALWAYS using a sealer, not primer, on top of plastic body filler before basecoat, when working with acrylics...as plastic body filler is absorptive...and can cause 'shade shift' due to the faster dry times if not sealed first)...GREAT CHANNEL! Keep up the excellent work!
Would you mind me asking what video camera you're using to shoot you videos with? Oh, and keep up the good work--love that you work freehand so much, I work exactly the same way!
Thanks! Something for me to save for.....right now I've got a cheap pseudo-GoPro that works pretty good, working at making my first video of airbrushing. Your videos are sharp with no distortion--that Panasonic seems to be a great camera, especially for the price.
Incredible! On a side note, I've always wanted to visit Australia for about 2 to 3 months to see as much of it as I could.
