Apparently Eugene/Keith or Ned/Zach would step into another room while the other was being filmed. Poor Eugene was already uncomfortable with how personal and intimate the exercises were going to be as he asks the crew, "Did this become, like sappy? Do they become sappy?"

I really think a lot of people underestimate how emotionally mature Keith is because of his character portrayal, but I truely believe he is incredibly emotionally mature and empathetic and I appreciate it.
i loved when Eugene was falling and, for a split second, you could see the fear of not being caught flash across his face, but he trusted them and continued to fall until they caught him. i don't know. i just love that.

Zach and Ned were more comfortable with each other in their hug but Keith and Eugene were physically the closest and like the little things say a lot about their friendships.
They hated hug. Eugene hates touching and Keith only does quick hugs because he over heats.
I straight up cried when Ned told Zach that he was a good guy. Usually, I'd hear something like that when someone is on their death bed. It makes me so happy that they have this level of appreciation for each other now. So beautiful!

I know, the look of joy on Eugene's face when they caught him was so pure. I love how they all immediately went in to catch him and there wasn't even a second where Eugene seemed to think they wouldn't catch him. I know I'm too invested on a five second bit of footage but I just love Eugene and all the guys and it makes me happy to see how much Eugene's grown in his ability to trust others and to be more vulnerable.

i like Eugene and Ned on screen as well since they’re both competitive. they seem to naturally come together in physically active videos. but in their 4 year anniversary video, Eugene and Keith were paired together and they themselves said they were rarely paired together.
Trust falls. Ned seems like he had the hardest time. But Eugene, the person who has seemingly the hardest time expressing himself, was the easiest to fall. He likes to seem like he's hard but he's very emotionally attached to his Guys. Also, Keith looked like a giant compared to the others but yet still the most attractive to me.

This is so adorable. They really do love each other, and that's hard to really allow yourself to come to terms with, I think. That's probably why Eugene hated the activity so much, because it made him feel vulnerable. I'm the same way, so I definitely get it. A lot of people are on this "I hate Ned" train right now and I understand their hurt and anger and I feel the same way too but then I watch something like this and I just can't buy into Ned being some bad evil person. And he wasn't even my favorite try guy, that would be Keith, but Ned stood out to me in this video in a good way. Look he did a horrible thing, and I am no way excusing his actions, but I don't think he's a horrible person even though he did a very bad thing. We all make mistakes. With that said I don't know if they'll ever be able to be friends again. It's actually heartbreaking.
They paired the guys correctly because Eugene would've been in pain if he had to hug anyone but Keith for three minutes. Keith did really well, being respectful while doing as instructed
It is strange that Ned and Zach are better being physically affectionate than verbally confirming their feelings.

I LOVE ZACH AND NED'S FRIENDSHIP. That was so genuine and heartwarming
It is funny howEugene is like "uah I don't want to hug" but aranges his arms quite intimate and if you look you can see, he and Keith stand closer to eachother than Zach and Ned wich speaks against an aversion against the contact
It might be an upbringing thing or a defense mechanism thing. I think Keith was the best pairing for him. I think Eugene’s relationship with physical touch is complicated and I doubt any of us will ever understand it fully, but Keith does an amazing job respecting it and being there for him anyway. So much love for these four 💕💕
