To be perfectly honest, I love this feature, but I'd rather have them concentrate on Suno actually following the song structure and meta tags laid out by the user. Suno ignores user input more than I care to mention and it pisses people off, not just me. They could also concentrate on the quality of the sound, especially when extending songs more than three times. After that the quality of the sound degrades so much that I don't want the song anymore. Concentrate on making it better, rather then adding new features at the moment. Come to think of it, if Suno can follow user input better, there will be less need to extend songs. And it’s funny, I’m playing with it now… I wanted to get a cover of the song in the same style as the original but with the hope that it would just sound more tuned and professional in a way. It’s sort of doing that but instead of creating an entirely new voice for the vocalist it just seems to be sampling the original. It sounds like my old singer being auto-tuned. He’d be pissed if he heard this 😂

I'm honest, Suno is great at writing melodies, harmonizing them, and offers excellent tools, like uploading your own audio, and now creating covers. But the sound quality is terrible! I can't listen to it, it sounds like 64k MP3s, or less! If Suno had the sound quality of Udio, it would be almost perfect, but this is no good, I'm not convinced. Try generating a short song with Udio (32 sec.), then load it into Suno and extend it, you can clearly see the difference in singing.
Haha, this is fun indeed. If only they would finally improve their voice generation. Suno always has that synthetic vibe to it, which totally ruins it for me.
It’s very clear that “THEY” have the technology to allow users to separate and keep melodies that they like and simply just swap instruments as if they are MIDI, or they could very easily have a section with boxes you check for instruments you want, or each output comes with a blueprint of all the stems and instruments as midi that you can go in and change. Yeah I know it sounds like I’m bitching, and I am, to be honest i am just happy this technology is out but I’d hate to see this turn into an “iPhone” situation where they slow roll the release of functions they’ve clearly already figured out over the coarse of 20 years, at this rate it’s not looking like that as we’ve seen several good updates in just a year, still it would be great if they would just release the ultimate DAW easy to use AI incorporated suno system with all the bells and whistles, take my money it’s not like we ain’t saying we not willing to pay, If I may defend my complaints it just feels like they want me to go into an infinite credit worm hole of buying more credits because they know I can’t stop working on something yet they don’t provide the nessesecary output filters to speed up the process of choosing what I’m after apposed to endlessly cycling through random outputs generated by me trying to prompt a robot like I’m trying to learn a foreign language and spending more time trying to figure out how to make the software understand me more than trying to make music. All for it just to add drums in a certain spot or to not spontaneously add a saxophone solo because I said the word “jazz”
As someone else mentioned I can't see or hear a difference between you adding a voice recording or just adding the lyrics to the text block. With respect
I'll have to play with it myself but I'm not sure I see the difference between this and just giving it the lyrics and then telling it what music style you want. It seems to me that all the cover function does is pull the lyrics out of a song you upload.
To have the same melody and voice of the person I have tried the following prompts in style of music: Same chords, same voice, mastering of music Accompaniment whit "bla, bla, bla"
Really? A cover is just a band/artist playing someone else's song. So if you go to a bar to see a "cover band", it just means they're playing songs they didn't write. The purpose is just to enjoy the music! (I mean, a cover can be very close to the original or can be in a completely different style...some people prefer the former (because it is obviously tends to be more "familiar") while some prefer the latter (because they might think "what is the point of playing a song the way it already sounds?").
I dont care if this ain't kosher; im going to make the ultimate cover version of Mariah Careys "All i want for christmas is you!" And there aint nothing any of you rules lawyers can do about it! Take that Christmas!
This feature isn't working for me, just spits out exactly the same song?? Even if i change the genre to something wildly different! Anyone else having the same?
Why would you want to do different genres of music though? What is the benefit of that? If im a R&B singer why would I want a Bluegrass or Heavy Metal version or any other version that’s not R&B of my song?
Kids say they can tell when a song is AI. Really? What About T-Pain? What about Cher? What about Travis Scott? All their voices are effected to high heaven. Literally not natural. What does AI have that makes it extra unnatural?
So... Not a cover? Just a text transcription service to create new songs then? Not following the melody, key, tempo, nothing from your original inputs... Unless I missed something.... Gemini can transcribe my lyrics on my phone and ChatGPT can transcribe on my Mac, I don't need Suno to do that.
Yeah, so I do hear it try to pull toward my cadence and tune by about 1% sometimes. So again, that's why I too ask the question at the end: Is this a cover? Or just a re-imagining? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Either way, it's proving to be a fun creative tool for me and some others, whether or not it's generating a proper "cover."
Dunno... I think its about the same as writing your own lyrics. Sunno should focus on updating their sound quality.

Up next, a cylinder. Can you guess which spot that goes in? That's right, it goes to the square hole. 😂
😎
otra buena característica, lastima que aún no puedan mejorar la calidad del sonido
I'll have to play with it myself but I'm not sure I see the difference between this and just giving it the lyrics and then telling it what music style you want. It seems to me that all the cover function does is pull the lyrics out of a song you upload.
Hey Bob, have you done a video on BIAB?
@@asniffofadventureshanoandl5319 yes. In fact, it was BIAB video that helped popped my channel onto the map. It’s been a while, but yes.
To have the same melody and voice of the person I have tried the following prompts in style of music: Same chords, same voice, mastering of music Accompaniment whit "bla, bla, bla"
I like the Feature but doesn't always make change. Typically I try to take a song and create Acoustic Version.
I don’t really understand what cover music is and what is the purpose?
Take that Christmas!
whats the difference between this and just putting the lyrics in and let it create a song then??
Cover Songs means that I can now make royalty free music for my Anime Live Action films.
You spelled "Hentai" wrong.
@@LarryPJ 😂 caught me
I tested it, copyrighted music is protected from it.
@@Sputz3 Because it’s fun and inspires new ideas. That’s why I do it.
J’aurais préféré une amélioration sonore.
Suno please !…
No thing change bro its like you write your own lyrics and make ai sing it
I don't get it. What's new about this? Could you maybe explain the feature instead of making me sit though a bunch of renders?

Bro make a video about new ai song maker. Mureka AI. 🔥🔥🔥 will be better than suno ❤️❤️
Kids say they can tell when a song is AI. Really? What About T-Pain? What about Cher? What about Travis Scott? All their voices are effected to high heaven. Literally not natural. What does AI have that makes it extra unnatural?
Another if you upload a song to cover it only allow 120 seconds
Either way, it's proving to be a fun creative tool for me and some others, whether or not it's generating a proper "cover."
why cant we test it for free?, i wont be paying something i dont know it will be usefull...
