your argument about "throw" makes no sense as far as I can tell the height of the stick has nothing to do with how far the joycon moves the movement is limited by the center of the stick hitting the stop the top of the stick doesn't touch the surface of the joycon all you're doing is adding leverage by making your joycon taller and it giving you a more perceivable angle of attack. you're not increasing your "throw" at all by having a taller joystick. the internals and the centre of the stick limit how far it "throws"
I'll rewatch and see what I'm saying at some point but you have me confused. I agree with you but maybe that didn't come across in the video. I'm not saying the height of the joystick is at fault here. It's the entire module itself being a more traditional joystick style as opposed to the silly smaller joycon joystick module.
@@128KB Why you don't do a video only for D-Pads? Any time you say "it's not the best, it's not the worst"... what are the parameters? only you understand what you are saying. Put into the test the eXtremeRate shell, Hori joycon D-Pad, both Hori split pads, 8bitdo, and more. Tell us what is a good D-Pad.
@@locomax2082 I've done some videos recently where I've approved of the Dpads! I'll consider a Dpads video but we've got a lot of backlog currently! Sadly though, I don't have the xtremerate or hori Dpads joycon. Dpads are subjective, as is everything, I'm not into fighting games though so what I might like in a dpad others may not. Pretty much every 8bitdo dpad I've tried so far is great and I also like the totally different dpad style of the mobapad M6 HD/S.
I love your reviews. It's a shame that are not compatible with the satisfye grips. I honestly still find the grip+joy con combo still a better option for portable than a chunkier joy con. I also have the slim travel case from satisfye and Is my number 1 travel option for protection and portability.
I have bought these since they're out in Malaysia and quickly regret buying them after a week just because of the triggers are flat. Sold them afterwards. Why is it bad for the triggers to be flat? It ruined the ergonomics especially if you play FPS or quick action games like Prince of Persia and Skyrim.
Considering getting them...I need joycons to play with my hands well separated (switch docked) due to shoulder issues as holding both hands in front of me is painful after a couple minutes. I currently use Nyxi and 'real' joycons.
Cool, new joycons that I've haven't seen before. More options are nice, i suppose, but these companies are a bit late. But they might be switch 2 compatible
Can you do a review with joycon shell replacement with dpad from different brands? I mainly use satisfye, maybe you can do a content for skull and co and satisfye users like me. Thanks!
This is another reason why I appreciate your channel. I would have never known about these. You are part of the reason I have my Nyxi controllers.
Really appreciate your support ♥️ hope you enjoy the NYXI's!
I have the blue ones L and R. I usually use this when I travel because it is so lightweight. Love it!
Excellent! Glad you love them!

128KB: These Joycons glow in the dark!
Also 128KB: Never turns off the lights in the video. 😂😂😂
I know 😭 I feel bad for that, I didn't have time to take them outside to charge the lumiglow up. Might have to make a short showing that!

yeah that part should have stressed out in the video.

do the joycons work in zelda skyward sword? i mean can i swing the sword/shield by moving them?
how do these compare to the mobapad???
