Personally i like jousting, press the shield button, wait for the crosshair to appear and just trample through the enemies. Works well both in arena and actual battles. Swordfighting on the other hand feels tedious to me. And most of the time my teammates die and enemies swarm me.
Maybe you have skill issue 😂😂 I literally fought 3 person in arena and hold them back long enough to almost kill all of them but my crappy teammates finished killing the other 3 and stole my kills. During a 1vs1 Calvary knight fight in arena, I purposely killed the horse first because I want to kill him in a fun way. Via Jousting it or get out and spam attack on that man till he is dead.

You can also start as a blacksmith or hunter by selling woods and metals also being hunter is just like a barn you encamp and wait till you maximize your farming
Blacksmith starts with a bunch of swords which you can sell, yeah, I somehow missed that, I thought they only started with Iron, reason why I settled for Ruined Merchant.
Impoverished farmer will give you lots of animals and provisions, you can sell them to get 45k in the beginning of the game depending on your trading skill.
Yeah, but not as much gold as the Blacksmith start, still one of the good backgrounds to start a game with since you start with animals - making starting a business very easy.

To be fair I just do the Lone wolf build (build I named by my self) so first choose hunter, since we have 6 scores in the start with 4 scores spent on strength, vitality, athleticism, and stamina but athleticism must be the highest to be spent on because speed is highly required for this build, the rest 2 score must be spent on agility then all point will be spammed on bow, you don't need leadership because you hunt the bandits your own considering this is a Lone Wolf build, after reaching a level the choice is yours, either spend points on Looting, horse for Jousting, pole arms for jousting, bow for more acc and dmg, and 2 handed swords for an high close range dmg, until then you can get soldiers if you want but it's recommended to get men at the level of 15

This is one of the worst differences between MB and Steel and Flesh. On my phone it is difficult to see how big armies are because of my screen size so if I could pause I could zoom in and see what they have.
I made the guide keeping beginners in mind, jousting controls are just very difficult and unintuitive for your usual beginner in games, so I didn't recommend jousting.

1. You don't need to put animal food in the barn if you have a supplier, the supplier will buy them for you automatically. 2. Yes, every week, the seller automatically sells all produced goods at your businesses. 3. No, you don't need to fill all animal slots in your businesses, you only need a minimum of 1 animal, and 1 worker for your business to run. Filling all animal slots will make your business produce more goods at every interval. Note that more animals in your business requires more workers, for example, you have 3 cows and only 1 worker, that 1 worker will only be able to tend to 1 cow, and the other 2 will be unattended, the result is the same if you have 1 cow with 3 workers, the other 2 workers will have no work to do.
I have 400,000 gold, and 200 elite guys under me, still refuse to make a business - I just keep raiding the enemy towns with my other lords, and the loot is usually worth around 20,00gold per battle.
You should add one problem in Jousting and that is being a Sagittarius. A horseman wielding a bow. The enemy Sagittarius has better aim than you and you are the easiest to kill by the Jousters. The arrows don't deal decent damage. Some Joust tournaments don't have Sagittarius but if you happened to attend one, pray you wield a Joust, not a Bow.

For food, you just need to buy them from any Market - under the 'Provisions' menu, Food category is for your troops, and Fodder category is food for your animals (such as Baggage animals, and Horses for your cavalry). So you do a siege and when you can attack a castle be fast as sonic and go siege a nother casle and stop and repeat 5 times atleast and all of the lords will go to defend that castle and then there no enemy lords on the castle you WANTED to siege and just take the castle. This a very easy strategy wich totaly cannot be abused by the player.

well did you know that it's much better just to free recruit than paid because in paid the soldiers will take your money and that we'll make your income smaller however you can take soldiers from castle you still need to pay Them so it's much better to just free recruit
Though 'Free Recruit' is great in some cases, it's simply not the best option in general, especially when you are roaming with a large army. Choosing 'Free Recruit' doesn't let you take soldiers from a castle/village. If you choose 'Paid Recruit', you can take troops from a castle/village whenever you want, this is what's important. If you are roaming with 1000 troops, you can easily transfer them all to a castle/village when the time comes for paying salary - garrisoned troops will cost less gold. When their salary is paid, you can easily take them back to your squad and continue roaming. Also, since you can't take troops at 'Free Recruit', it severely limits your troop management. Ex: you can't leave 1000 troops at a castle for a 'break' or else they'll be stuck there forever - no one will attack a castle that has 1000 defenders on it, and they'll just use up your gold when paying salary.
Find the book keeper in the Taverns, he's not always there so you have to move around cities to find him, you can also talk to other people there to find out where he is.
In order for you to Hunt, you must have at least 10 points in Hunting Skill, and have a bow or a crossbow in your inventory. If you choose the Hunter background, you start with all the things you need for hunting. To hunt: go to 'Squad' menu > select 'Camp' > then press 'Hunting'. That usually happens if you have lower total number of soldiers than the enemy, you get a lower ratio per enemy on the field. There is a troops mechanic in place called 'combat-ready' troops, and 'wounded' troops, wounded troops can't enter the field and fight. Likely what happened to you is that you have a lot of wounded troops, and little combat-ready troops, reason why the enemy has more troops in the field than you.
@@Ken_733 just buy a lot, like, really, a LOT, if you don't have enough inventory space, you can buy Baggage Animals in market too, though you would also need to buy those animals food.

Combat skills only affect battles in the field, it doesn't work for Arena, all stats become balanced in Arena.

You might not have a supplier to buy supplies for you. You need to have enough money for the supplier to restock your barns with food for the cows

@ismollcheeken thanks bro😸,As a warlord I conquered many territories including Jerusalem and Damascus but my question is what advantages and disadvantages do I have when becoming king? And if I can have my own territories (castle, kingdom, town, etc.)
@@XD-qe8xm If you become King, every Castle, City, and Port under the Empire will all become your possessions, you will be able to start earning money from them, as well as absolute control over the lords of the Empire.
A disadvantage would be the wars, when you become King, you will inherit whatever war the old King was fighting against.

@@XD-qe8xm it works the same as when you form your very own Empire, the only difference is that you're controlling one of the game's set Empires instead of creating your own from scratch.

When you get used to it. But for the average new player, the horse controls are absolutely terrible, and the game doesn't tell you how to put your lance up, it's especially worse if you get the horse archer.

That usually happens if you have lower total number of soldiers than the enemy, you get a lower ratio per enemy on the field. There is a troops mechanic in place called 'combat-ready' troops, and 'wounded' troops, wounded troops can't enter the field and fight.
Likely what happened to you is that you have a lot of wounded troops, and little combat-ready troops, reason why the enemy has more troops in the field than you.

@@Ken_733 just buy a lot, like, really, a LOT, if you don't have enough inventory space, you can buy Baggage Animals in market too, though you would also need to buy those animals food.

@@TetraHax well I conquered the map in a week the tip is to become a warlord so the other factions won't disrupt you when your conquering and the king will be your puppet
