My take on your question to him about MLF is other anglers are going to try to return to BASS. I noticed you mentioned Blaukat in the interview. In the past 6 or 8 months, Blaukat has been the topic of discussion for his views. Apparently Milliken and possibly Swindle have issues with him. I heard him state he will be on you show very soon. I hope you discuss this with him. Dave your good work is not going un-noticed. Thank you!
Agree there is massive talent on Elite series but disagree JLee will be running into a buzzsaw. In the history of BPT Jacob Wheeler is the only person to have earned more total AOY points. He has a AOY title for BPT. If MLF was giving legends points he would have 1 in MLF. At 32 years old he has 1 MLF/BPT AOY and 2 Bassmaster Classic wins with 7 of 9 seasons in top 10 AOY between both organizations. He will be the buzzsaw others run into.
The main thing all legends have in common is their desire to compete. As for KVD he is arguably one of the most competitive anglers to play the game. Him fishing Redcrest in 24 and a couple other events he mentioned will not be enough to feed his desire to compete. His 24 season will be like Michael Jordan playing baseball. Its just going to be a side deal until he soon realizes how bad he misses the rigors of full time competition doing what he was meant to do. I think he will be fishing at a high level of competition full time in 25 or at the latest 26. My only question is will it be on the Elite series or somewhere else.

I guess he doesn’t move the needle the way he used to when it comes to sponsors wanting to invest the money. Who’d have thought there’d come a day where Roland Martin, the king of product pitching, couldn’t find ten sponsors to each pay 10 grand.

But really didn’t see it being something I couldn’t learn to use. Turn em off during the tournaments like big money salt water is. Or turn em off half the time. If older guys can’t compete.
I dont believe that there being only 2 legends spots is true. Ronnie moore said in an interview that there is no rule limiting them to 2. Which in my opinion seems odd and leaves a little too much grey area and favoritism on who gets the exception. Should definitely be a set number of spots.

@factsoffishing tbh I watch Randy's videos. He puts out some really good learning things and I love megabass jerkbaits. Who is more of an expert on megabas jerkbaits then Randy? No one. But he has a ffs problem, 2 videos a week about it. Probably 200 total. He has a bad attitude at times, just being honest. He has no shame to bash things. So he's kinda earned everyone picking on things he does.
