MiHoYo Gave Me My OWN Event! [Genshin Impact]

- Genshin Impact's latest event titled "Of Drinking A-Dreaming" is very obviously an event themed around our channel here. How else could you explain an event that involves coffee?
As such, I had to make a dedicated video playing through the event and unlocking every drink, along with the Binge Vessel namecard. AKA the JavaTheCup namecard.
Since some people have been saying I tend to complain a lot, I also put a rule in place during this video where every time I complained, I would have to pull. Just to spice it up a little bit.

This event is such a change of pace from all those exploring and action filled events, although I was a bit frustrated with the challenge but that's kinda the point of it anyway
It was boring for me cuz it took time for animation n still didnt stop the damn timer

@@apsonus165 i did the same...but when u check the recipe, the timer freezes, when u add ingredients n then start the next steps, its boringly same each time 🥲 n times passes on too 🙂
@@maittreyasapte2127 the animation of the traveler adding the ingredients was soo long, especially when you added a lot 🤣 i got all my primos from the event now so i def wont be revisiting it🤣

You guys should touch some grass if every event held is boring for you. You don't want action oriented event, you don't want a relaxing event, so wth do you guys want? At this point, this is basically hating a game just for the sake of it. Eh, I guess that's fine too, since I also hate Zelda and Fromsoft games (Sekiro is an exception) just because.
This event was so chill, I actually genuinely think this is the best event I have played, outside of maybe the 2.3 event (bcs I am a lore enjoyer)

@@sleeper5905 No, like legitimately. I have been quite busy recently with school shit and what not, and exploration/combat events are sort of ruined for me (because I can't enjoy them at the same time). But this event, it doesn't take much time, chill, and simple and frankly I am loving it

All jokes asides Eula's eyes are one of my favorite designs in the game, alongside Mona's, Zhongli's, and Xiao's. The gradient is *chef's kiss*

This event is much more relaxing than the other events. At least you don’t have to beat a bunch of enemies that have really good buffs just for Primogems.
Honestly im personally enjoying this event a ton, i hope they do more such slice of lifey ones in the future

also yes, they must be on a date since Beidou's paying for a billionaire
Pirate captains are depicted wearing eye patches because it helps keep one eye adjusted for darkness when going up and below decks (you switch the side) and for using a spyglass. Beidou's band looks like it could easily be adjusted to cover the other eye by just tugging on it. I think it looks really cool 😎

@@dione__fernnn her character/vision stories and other in game text say "eyes" whenever mentioned and don't mention scars of any kind (I remember reading complaints about her lack of scars vs Bennett on social media). She chased Haishan for days and stood off for 10 hours straight and then felled it with a single blow, which was her childhood dream. I think we're supposed to infer that it didn't touch her that whole time, since the story emphasized her vigilance and also consider her counter-based fighting style.
I would agree tho that the community thinks she would be a lot rougher looking in fan art and that would make sense but the game lore doesn't really support it... I don't know what to make of that.
This event was really chill, it didn't require lots of grinding like some previous events and the rap was very cool too. You should definitely do an eye tier list.
Pirates would actually wear eyepatches so that their eyes wouldn’t have to adjust when going below deck because one eye would already be adjusted to the dark
The rap part was lit! I liked the Raiden one too but this one has a better syllable distribution and rhythm

I really hope they do another event similar to this soon with no fighting or chaos. Maybe something similar to this where you just work in shops and stuff, but instead of being a bartender, we get a new "commission" everyday at a different shop or job, like restaurants, babysitting, etc.
this event was SO fun. we need more events like this. something so satisfying about collecting drink recipes, making drinks, and getting some fun lore about other characters at the same time
The way he pulled out a rap out of nowhere was just jaw dropping, even though he wasn't 'build' for it.
I love this event, definitely beats windtrace in terms of fun in my opinion.
Personally I think they have a tie 4 me, windtrace was my life

The eye teer list sounds fun. And I literally only played this event because of how chill it is and I was just procrastinating the encodomiya one.
When I watched the livestream for this patch, I thought I'll enjoy the domain event more and that this would be boring.
Turns out, it's quite the opposite. The domain event was so boring I didn't even bother to look at it after I got the primos. This on the other hand, was a surprise. I really enjoyed it a lot.

Fun fact: pirates use the eye patch because below deck is way darker than above deck so when they need to go below deck they just swap the eye patch from one eye to the other and see with the eye that is already adjusted to low light conditions. 🌈 the more you know 🌈

I always look forward to your videos so when I saw this I immediately clicked it. That rap was fire and definitely make an eye tier list. However I know you tried not to complain in this video but I honestly prefer it when you do. Its very funny and relatable when you do, plus it doesn't feel like you're suppressing part of yourself. There's a practical reason pirates wear eyepatches, I don't remember exactly what it was but you can google it for yourself. All I know is that they don't wear it due to a lost eye.
I think it was so one eye can adjust to dark areas more easily. dont quote me on that tho

The Eyepatches for pirates are historically not cause they lost their left and right eyes so goddamn always,
neither was it just cause they deemed it hella lit.
They had that eyepatch to actually have one eye in the dark at all times so as they switched from atop the ship to into the ship where it was dark
they would switch the eyepatch from one side to the other and instantly have an eye that was as used to the dark as you would get :3

on your beidou eyepatch question i’m pretty sure i heard that pirates wore eyepatches not cause of eye injuries but so they could adjust easier between light above deck and dark below deck because having one eye covered in light keeps it adjusted to dark
