Someone needs to make a 250cc two stroke post supercross season Cup. Like 5 races and see what happens. Mix current 250/450 guys and see what happens

@@jessebryant9233 Hey from Australia, hell yeah wouldn't that be race watch. I think the last pro rider to do that was Mike Brown on a RM250, he rode the 450 in practice and decided the 2stroke could be quicker and it was. I think it was in 2006 i can't remember what stadium? 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

There should be a 2-stroke invitational race at the end of each season-that features the 10 riders from both classes during the regular season. Limit any mods to suspension and pipes and bars. Might be very interesting to see who comes out on top... But no matter what, fun, yeah?

@@dylanwilby1032 My guess as to why he wore one would be because he was contracted/paid to wear it,not because he wanted the support/protection it may or may not offer.
Personally I (and others who race) don't like the restrictive feeling it gives. This is the reason a few of the pro's stopped wearing one, so it would be interesting to see if Bam Bam feels the same way. Good question to ask, seeing as many have ditched them!

If there is anybody who knows how to keep the 2 stroke in the powerband, he would be the one. I bet as his mechanic when he was on the 250 thumper, they went insane trying to keep the motors from blowing up. The only rpm's he knows are at the rev limiter.
First race I ever saw him race professionally was against Dungey and he was wide open the entire time. There was a local rider named Jason Mogar here in NC. His Honda constantly popped riding on the rev limiter, especially in the berms. These were 2 strokes back in the day. But no doubt Barcia was the same way growing up. 😊

I love watching motocross and supercross but there needs to be some pressure put on the AMA and FIM to bring back the 2 strokes.

Barcia was designed to ride two strokes. I remember early videos of him just melting CR125’s to the ground before he turned pro that were amazing. He would rev it until the piston was clearly starting to melt. It was beautiful!

Really surprised gas gas didn't suggest he ride the 350 in motocross and supercross. Obviously he rides the 450 for a reason im sure just my opinion that the 350 would fit his Revving throw the bike around riding style better especially since the 350 platform is proven from guys like Antonio winning on it and Andrew Short back in the rocky mountain ktm days ripping holeshots. Just my own opinion, would love to see him ride one
