- A very quick one as i'm still getting to grips with my new multitrack mixer.
I have retired my Mackie Pro-FX as I have outgrown the channels and needed more. The new mixer is an Allen & Heath CQ18-T which is an 18 channel compact unit with built in FX.
I recorded this jam as a stereo mix direct to USB pen drive rather than multitrack recording to SD Card. FX used on the intruments are Easy Verb & Delay. Buss master compression applied.
MC-101 is the brain & everything is clocked to it via a Kenton 5 way MIDI THRU.

It's great however that unit had to go back. The centre pot on the left hand side was really stiff so I got it swapped out for another one.

The TD-3 is running it's own internal sequencer. I have the MC-101 set up with 3 channels:
CH1 - Drums
CH2 - MIDI out to Blofeld.
CH3 - MIDI out to SH-01A
So the sequences for the 01A and Blofeld were programmed on the MC-101.
The channel thats controlling the SH-01A also has an MC-101 tone track attached so I bring that in on the fader to fatten up the synth sound during the build up.
CH2 also has a tone track attached to it which adds a subtle layering to the Blofeld.
