As a fellow artist I've seen many (and perhaps a little myself) struggle with the feeling that they have to become famous or rich in order for their work to be of any real value. And just as you mentioned it can really hurt one's spirit - their inspiration and motivation to create and build community. Now, I'm not Christian nor very religious in any other sense, but I feel this video's message is universal regardless. "Being grateful for what and who we have in our lives and learning to give back what we can even if it's in small ways." Like several others in this comment section, I was recommended your video. And I'm very happy I was. Nowadays it can be hard to find videos that actually radiate an ounce of humanity, especially ones that focus on the art community. Words of kindess and support are often drowned out by floods of drama or negativity because those types of videos sell. But at the same time they hurt our ability to connect and grow. Ruin our sense of empathy. Basically what I'm trying to say is it's nice to just sit down and watch a short and sweet video like this. I look forward to seeing your future content, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and respond. It makes my heart happy that this has been encouraging to you! I totally agree that it’s most often the negativity that sells and gathers people in the comments section with little personal connection. Can’t control that, but I can control what I put out there and I’m grateful you found it 😊 thanks again
I’m starting my own art journey soon (online!) and it’s been hard to feel like it’s worth it. I really resonate with your voice and message, and leaning into our own magic! Thanks for this!
This resonated with me 😌 Thanks for the encouragement. I was feeling a little bit down with my art and Social Media and stuff, but you uplifted me, thank you!
I’m glad I’m here too! And honestly, hearing Bible believing Christian and your purpose, warmed my heart. It was the reminder that I needed today of God and our purpose. This was the video I needed to today ❤ thank you x
Im so glad you felt the need to touch on the beauty and importance of a more intimate outreach. Seeing the humanity in an increasingly isolated and digital world. Not only that, but being brave in sharing your faith when the world today is so quick to shame believers for simply wanting to encourage one another. I know I saw your video for a reason, and I hope that you will continue to use the gifts God gave you, just as you are now. You never know just WHO is watching or how your voice will impact a life or those around them. Thank you for enduring in your creative ventures and speaking your mind. It’s much more of a blessing than I’m sure you realize.
thank you, i had this fear to not share anything but there is no point to hold it only for myself either, like its lose lose if i dont share and keep this fear
Yes!! And there are people out there who will be so glad you do share! ❤️ they need what you’ve got! “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” -Wayne Gretzky -Michael Scott
