Finally topped out early this year, I’m at 113K so far. I’m projecting around 125-130 by the end of the year.
Sheesh! Nice!
Good for you, Michael! I was a CCA for a month and left cuz I thought the grass was greener. I'm coming back, though
Finally someone who gives us the numbers thanks
Yes absolutely!
6 days a week is… wild.
Some would work 7 if they could
@@Theangrymailman imma work 7! lol. I start at the post office soon! Let’s get wild!
@@realdhopthat’s the mindset, a few years and you will have some options for investing it. Get a little wild investing and turn your $100k into 500k to a million easy in one year
No it’s not. I’ve worked 7 12 hour days for months at a time offshore. So no going home for months.
I work two jobs currently I work 6 days per week at the post office and 4 nights per week are 12 hr shifts and come back and do the same thing all over again. It’s nice having so much money but I’ve only been doing it for around 5 months now and I’m getting a little tired, but in this economy I can’t afford not to I have a wife and a 1 yr old son I have to take care of. I’m currently a ptf and the money I’d getting better at the post office, even though I make more at my other job per hour than even with my 22.13 at the PO … Shame right
$85k in what state because that’s not much
For a new City Carrier, you're looking more like $60 - 70k max, working 60 hours a week. That's 10 hours every day for six days. You can make a bit more delivering Amazon packages on Sunday, but that's like working every day. That is some serious grind. If you don't have a family, that's all good, but if you do, that's rough.
Yea these people are maxed out. But yearly salary from them is around 78k and yet they gross 130k or so. No thank you!
Great information thanks 👍🏼
85K such an exaggeration as a CCA come on man. We don't make that much. Yes 6 days too.
Not at all. A CCA at my office made that last year.
I make 19.33 an hour as a CCA. I generally work 7 days on, 1 day off. They would work me more, but policy won't let them because the accident rate with CCAs becomes too high. 10 hour day is generally the norm, 12+ hour days are not uncommon., but sometimes I get kicked out early because management wants to cut OT. I will be lucky if I hit 60k this year.
@brianking8708 60K ish yes I can see
@kekesmooth5618 I'm not totally sure even 80k is enough to make up for the gaslighting and managerial incompetence you end up dealing with. I love the job, but jesus christ.
@@brianking8708 exactly 😆
Thanks for making this video man. I’m currently in manufacturing at $33/hour. Took 5 years employed to get to top pay but I’m tired of automotive assembly line. How long does it take to get to top pay rate with USPS?
Right now it 12 years for carriers which is far to long. BUT, we are currently in contract negotiations and that should change. Talk is much shorter time to max out. But won’t know for sure until the contract comes out in the next few months.
Few months later and no updates😂@@Theangrymailman
It’s a good amount of money, also a good amount of time at work!whatever works for you!
I have orientation June 18!!
Quick question brother 🤔.. how do you guys handle the rough winter? 🤔
Just made a video!
Think of all the weak men who will perish. Being a mailman is like free survivalist training and you get paid good for it. And you can test out gear on the job
I just got accepted for a career city carry job starting at 23 an hour with full benifits. I'm very excited for the pay! But i am curious how many hours a week i should be expecting to work
A career carrier is guaranteed 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. However, for the next month since it’s peak, probably 60 hours a week until new years.
@Theangrymailman I've heard people say expect 60 hours a week on average (partly because of how big of a city I'll be working in) but having garenteed 40 a week sounds good too!
Give us an update
He didnt make it bro bro@@loudandproud9070
Get me a job lol. I’ve applied for some positions here but haven’t heard back.
Man! We’re always hiring for carriers!!
Well I’m waiting…I submitted a driving record etc a week or so ago but haven’t gotten any other emails
@@mattb2700 the process is super slow. Took me like 2 months.
@@Theangrymailmanhi hello!!!do I need to pass the exam of US postal workers???because somebody told me that there is no exam if you apply just only to interview no exam it is true???thanks .,..
Came home, ate dinner, went to bed. Loser with no social life. Probably living beyond his means. This guy will probably never retire and will end up working for 1.75 an hour when he’s 72 years old.
Question .. im a mail handler . Looking to get reassigned to another city . Just got offerered a city carrrier position .. what would my pay be if im currently at step F as a mail handler .? What would it be as a city carrier .. help. Thxs
Hello can you tell me if bulk mail is rubberband out for delivery is it going to one house or multiple? Im asking because i believe my mail carrier is stealing my mail
When is the contract finalize?
Indeed is wrong then indeed says they make 15$ a hour lol
How long it takes for top pay? Max out
Are you based out of Texas by any chance
What can a clerk make in a year?
How long till you get topped out?
Is that after taxes?
People dont think its possible
I’ve seen it! If you want the OT there is some crazy money at the post office!
@@Theangrymailman trust i know cca brooklyn new york. So imagine
I love it cant wait to see what the new contract holds. Hopefully the situation with ups works in our favor and our unions puts their balls on the table. Im also looking foward to the pvo position expansion.
I think we have a good chance at a good contract this time! We have lots of leverage!
My manager makes sure we never get into penalty or have any excessive OT. As a CCA I love my office but wish there was more OT for us like what you described.
Do you have an email I’d love to ask some questions tganks
Absolutely. Lildover2412@yahoo.com
