GOT7 didn’t disband and they left JYP Entertainment as a group in 2021 and all the members signed with different agencies. While groups have continued promotions after leaving their ex-companies, few groups in K-pop have made comebacks while one or two members are under another company let alone seven. So people acquiesced in the disbanding of the group. GOT7 have 3 foreigners members who one have his own label in China and another sign with a worldwide agency in LA. Just for that, they still managed to be together even though two members are promoting in different countries. The leader JAY B learned the law to fight for their trademark. This year GOT7 is literally the only kpop group who owns EVERYTHING related to their name, copyright, trademarks, all intellectual property, all rights over their own music and distributing it, they own every stage and unit name. Now they are under Warner Music as a group. They are the first kpop group to do all that after leaving a big3 company in Korea and then trying to match all their schedules to comeback. Recently they released an album with the title track NANANA in May this year.
yeahh.. they even released a single "ENCORE" directly after a month they leave jype.. just to tell us they will be back and don't worry bout tht.. cuz got7 and ahgase are ONE..
Jay B has two albums. He has Somo Fume under Jay B and then LOVE under Def! Both are masterpieces. All his work. Writing/composing and even producing. On Somo Fume he has collabs too. He has solos on SoundCloud too and he also has more songs/collabs with a company he is part of called Offshore. Check those out too. He is so talented. He can do it ALL!
Def’s music is basically something he do without the stress about making it promotional (like to be on tv and these stuff)
Jay b’s music on other side doesn’t have a specific genre with a dance and the promo on tv/radio and concerts ✨
That's great for him I know with that sort of popularity comes a lot of expectations that can influence his creativity or way of thinking when writing his music.
@@illcobe that’s why i love def’s music more than jay b’s , mostly i listen to underrated artist who do their stuff without the anxiety of making music with the trend genre and all those stuff.

The best part out of all this is that Jay B started out as a b-boy! He won the audition along side with Jinyoung(JYP Audition/they both tied for the first time ever at JYP for dancing) Jay B had not even considered singing. Of course at JYP he had vocal training and the rest is history. Crazy right?
Jay B grew out his hair long to donate it which he did. He is now in the military. He is not doing the actual military training etc due to back and ankle injuries. He is doing public service work. He will be out in Nov 2024. Jinyoung is also in active military duty and he will also be out in Nov 2024. Jay B has said when they are done there will be a comeback and world tour slated for 2025
Sunset is on the LOVE album! He loves RNB! FYI. He recently left HiGHR Music after a year and is now with a company called CDNZA Records. He and some other artists are doing a concert in Sept on the 10th in another country. Go Jay B/Def!

JAY B/DEF, his solo music is divided into two parts or types. JAY B(under H1ghr music)is a bit more refined in the aspect of visuals or music. Since He had more freedom to work with less restrictions, Def(under Warner Music) is a more personal representation of who he is as an artist.💚
