    I'm telling you this guy is a beast on these engines! He taught me how to convert my d16y8 on my Ej8! Best thing I've ever done. Ill be flying off them stop signs while saving gas. Learned so much from Texas honda channel. Can't wait to do this Mod thank you!

    Can't wait for the next video 😁 I looked into cam and immediately started getting excited! If HP claims are close to accurate it should be awesome!

    Man, putting out that content! So this is one of the reasons I stuck with a D series in my insight. If I have any failures in the head, or even the head gasket, it's super easy to do it all leaving everything else in the car!
    I used this same method for springs in my 4.8 LS swap, works great! Although I hate that tool, by the time I was done, the threads were like razor blades! Ha ha

    If I would have known this I would have done it a long long time ago. I always thought you had to remove the head to change the valve spring. Wow. I might change them this weekend I have everything I need

    Why only 30PSI? Does the air move the piston down if it’s more pressure? I’m getting ready to do valve stem seals on a B18C1 with compressed air and am trying to figure out what PSI to pressurize the cylinder at.

    When would you replace the valves then? Or are stock valves good for this set up?

    • @TexasHondaChannel
      @TexasHondaChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It would be a good time to replace them but mine are fine and i couldn't find the new ones i had laying around somewhere but its not a big deal ima eventually get a Z6 head so i can put brand new ones in that head.

      you also have to remove the head to do valves. so if you just need to replace springs for a cam, this is the way to go.

    • @tayvonrose2528
      @tayvonrose2528 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      U shouldn’t ever use upgraded springs with stock retainers. The new springs are way too stiff for the oem retainers
