Xabi Alonso is the most versatile and intelligent ball passer I've ever seen, his passing capabilities are not matched, i really dont care who your fave is but go replay his games and compare by your own eyes. The way he used to select ball distribution in a split of a second even if it means 70+ yards long pass, the way he manipulated tactical football with his calm passes from left to right.. from right to left and out of a sudden makes the most amazing key pass anybody can ever imagine. Xabi Alonso for me was the most creative DM of all times and he had the passing skills no CM ever had.
First touch is something that will never leave a former proffesional. The best are born with great first touches which sets football apart from most sports and why you can't make it as a professional just because you are very athletic or put in incredible work to try and be one at the top anyway
