why is there ever a need for a boundary to convert directory to an appliacation? can you give me a good example? still confused if i can access the url either way.
ASP.NET can use the application boundary to create a new root folder that has its own /bin folder and the like. The URL is the same, but the underpinnings used for ASP.NET will be different.

Boundaries are used by classic ASP.NET to separate different parts of your app. They have a few purposes. However, modern .NET doesn't typically need the same boundaries. You don't need to worry about it unless you're supporting an old ASP.NET application.
wow this is the most irritating video...like his content is good but all i can hear is him banging the key board keys...i think the newer videos now understand showing how fast you type and that you use the command prompt are taken as one having command of the task.
