Showcase 2024 - SoundStorm

Featuring specially commissioned projects alongside highlights from the more everyday work of the Hub in 2023-24, including performances by younger students early on in their musical journey through to more advanced, older players. Highlights include a specially formed, massed junior orchestra performing a brand new commission written by Kate Wright; student rock/pop bands including finalists from 2024’s BandStorm; a selection from the range of ensembles the Hub supports, playing better known pieces; extracts from our heritage-inspired ‘Poole Voyages’ project developed in partnership with Bournemouth Symphony; two massed choral commissions, including a suite of new songs written by the young participants in a new Creative Choir, working with Bath Philharmonia Creative Learning team - plus much more.
