    1) ➡ Being a pilot in Indigo airlines. Is it a job with job security?
    2) ➡ Do they provide accommodation and food during layouts?
    3) ➡ Do they provide any apartment/house and food at our base or we need to find one by our own?
    4) ➡ Do they send any taxis to our base to take us to the airport or we need to use one by our own?
    5) ➡ Do we get enough time to spent with our family?
    6) ➡ During long trips we get to spent time there or not?
    7) ➡ I heard in a video that we need to take vitamin tablets to be healthy. Is it true? Can you please recommend me some?
    8) ➡ How long does it take to complete pilot training in Indigo Airlines?
    9) ➡ How much money do we need to spend for our pilot training in Indigo Airlines?

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1) Your job is secure as long as your health and airline financial condition is good...
      2) During layover....Yes...food and accommodation will be taken care by your airline..
      3) No...But you will get allowances as per company policy
      4) Yes..company will take care of your transport to and from airport...
      5) It depends upon your roster....but in general you will get less time...because there’s no concept of weekend and national holiday in this profession...also you are supposed to fly anytime 24/7...
      6) Yes...you can explore new places if you have time...but you have to take proper rest as well...before next flight...
      7) I don’t know about vitamin tablets...all that matters is you must be physically and mentally fit before operating any flight...in short 100%...
      8) It depends upon your path...i.e cadet or conventional...
      9) I can’t give you exact figure...but roughly...After CPL you need at least 25-30 lakhs...and if you apply After CPL + Self Sponsored Type Rating then you need at least 5-10 lakhs..also...these figures can possibly change in future...
      Thanks

    Does joining an airline through a cadet pilot program restrict me from switching airlines in the future?

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes...till your bond period is not over....and as far as Indigo CPP is concerned you have to work for 5 yrs after course completion i.e final joining....but if you wish to leave the company before this period...then you have to pay 30 lakhs as compensation to Indigo...same goes with other airlines...as all airlines bond their pilots for certain number of years...and airlinewise this bond value also differs..Thanks

    Do banks provide loan for cadet pilot programs?

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Yes but upto a limit...with collateral ( i.e land property or any other property equivalent to amount of loan you are taking )....as this course doesn’t fall under education loan....without collateral they won’t give you loan above 10 lakhs i think...do visit bank for more...they will give you the right details...but in general if you take 50 lakh loan then you need to repay approx 1 crore...i.e just double...means your total course ( Cadet Programs ) would cost around 1.5 crores...i hope u understood..

    Im applying fir CAA Indigo CPP. In their assesment stages they have specified only 3. In first ADAPT test stage they have specified below:
    Personality Questionnaire (60 minutes) - Assesses behavioural preferences in an Aviation context.
    Cognitive Skills (30 minutes) - Measures cognitive abilities for learning and performing pilot tasks.
    FAST Assessment (20 minutes) - Evaluates multitasking, cognitive, situational awareness, and physical skills.
    Control and Coordination Test (10 minutes) - Using a joystick, measures control and coordination skills.
    Flight Test (20 minutes) - Requires candidates to fly a predefined route using a joystick, throttle, and headphones.
    Maths Progressive Test (30 minutes) - Tests math skills aligned with a 10+2 level curriculum.
    Physics Progressive Test (30 minutes) - Assesses physics knowledge aligned with a 10+2 level curriculum.
    English Assessment - Evaluates English language, listening, comprehension, sentence structure, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, and interaction skills.
    does this mean written test is not going to happen?

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes...no separate written test will be conducted ( i.e before ADAPT )...everything will be done in ADAPT only ( This will be your first stage )...if you manage to clear it...then you will have Group Activity and Personal Interview....

    Hello! I recently completed my 12th std and is a pilot aspirant. I already send my application to Fta and skyborne. Can I apply for cae too? I actually prefer fta and cae.What is the maximum number of colleges that I can apply for the indigo cadet program?

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can apply in multiple FTOs but after clearing stage 1 ...you can continue with only one of them...as there are attempt limitations in each phase...so don’t apply in multiple FTO as per my opinion....for example in FTA if you applied and didn’t attend their assessment...then they won’t call you next time...i.e in FTA...I don’t know about rest path by the way...but FTA has mentioned this thing in their FAQ section....plus while applying..you have to mention somewhere...whether you have applied or attended any other FTO before...if yes then upto which stage you have cleared...so they already have your database...ok....Thanks

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      You pay 30 lakhs only if you left the company before 5 yrs period ( i.e after joining the airline or if you break this bond by any means in between )....and they take it in a form of undated cheque with surety...means you have to take any family member or third party member on the date of signing letter of intent...who will take this surety of paying 30 lakhs in case you break your agreement......and apart from that you have to compulsory pay somewhere between 97 lakhs to 1.1-1.2 crore for your complete training..which depends upon the path you choose...plus in addition keep 10-15 lakhs extra for any additional flying training or any failure in exams/flight test / sim check and etc etc things ( if required )....So lot of money is required throughout..from start to finish...

    Can you please explain it in detail about you said that there's no 100% job guarantee? I heard that they do provide every cadet a job after the immediate completion of the course, can you explain it, please?

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will get job..if you finish your training as per airline standards and as per your agreement...so it’s like a conditional job assurance...because at the end it depends upon your performance and financial health of airline...and i am saying not 100% guaranteed...because even airline doesn’t mention this GUARANTEE word anywhere in their agreement...also...
      In rare case...if you underperform OR become medically unfit in between or post completion of your training OR your airline goes bankrupt...then in that case...you won’t get any kind of job assurance...your airline can terminate your training in between and send you back home...and
      About joining...they don’t give you any fixed date...it all depends upon their requirements and number of cadets....sooner or later all successful cadets will be given joining as per agreement...not immediately...but definitely...again..provided your airline is operational....
      Waise aviation ka first lesson yehi hai ki...nothing is guaranteed...
      Thanks..

    Sir plz tell me one thing that is there too much competition for cadet path and if we will pass in all exam and get LOI so what after next???? WHAT we have to do in training??

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Competition is there ...but not like you have in other exams...its no where close to that....max to max you have to compete with few 100 or thousands only...because only few people can afford it...1 crore is a big amount....after selection process i.e final interview...you will sign letter of intent with your airline...before commencing your training....and then you will have your ground classes and flying training as per DGCA requirements...in which you need to clear DGCA CPL exams as well as abroad CPL exams which is required for CPL issue as per the path you’ve opted for...and throughout you have to clear all exams and checks as per airline set standards..within minimum allowed limit...like 2-3 or more as per your airline policy...if you fail to do so...then they will send you back home...under performance ground...without any kind of refund or job assurance....so be careful before joining any CPP.....its a huge investment and you need to give your 100%...Thanks

    Please answer the following doubts it will help a lot.
    1 I had doubt related medicals that if some one clear medical before training but after he gets a job and in the annual medical tests if he got unfit (for any reason) then whole money he puts in this field would be wasted?
    2 the test that pilot has to give regulary in every 6 months , so if one got failed in any of the test so he would not be able to fly for that airline and get fired or what?
    3 Just wanted to know that are these test hard like physical test (fast) seems to be difficult , how can we prepare for these .
    4 Like you said if we fail in gd or personal interview more than 2 times we will not be able to give the test next time in indigo, so is this also same in other cadet programs like of spicejet? or we can give unlimited times in them

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1) Yes and No...both...
      - Yes, If you become permanent unfit.
      - No, If you become temporary unfit
      But yes...in both cases...you won’t be able to fly...till you are fully recovered...
      2) You will be removed from flying duties...till the time you clear it successfully as per standards of airline..and...company won’t fire you from job...but if you fail multiple times then may be yes...they can...in rare case...
      3) No...its not that difficult...it’s like a game...you can prepare it from... pilotest.com and few other websites... pilotest is absolutely free...so i would recommend you for that...
      4) Yes...this point was clearly mentioned in indigo cadet program screening policy...if you fail twice at any stage...then you won’t be able to apply in any of their program...both current and future...
      But ..one thing i want to mention here that...airlines keep changing their rules and regulations related to selection process...so may be in future...they might scrap this rule...
      Thanks..

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Attempt limitation thing depends upon airline and it varies as per their screening policy...in spicejet cadet program...there’s no such rule as per my knowledge...

      @@CadetPilot . Thanks a lot for answering. Some more doubts pls answer :-
      1when we are temporary unfit then airlines stills pays our salary or not ?
      2I got 98% in 10 th class and will try to score well in 12 th , I wanted to ask is there any scholarship or something like that in any airline's cadet programs or conventional cpl?
      3 just needed an advice which airline's cadet program I should join like best airlines in terms of salary, behavior, and other factors.
      I appreciate you for answering all the question of everybody , It helps us a lot.

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1) Yes...as per airline contract...but i can’t say whether you will get full salary or not...because in general your salary depends upon number of flying hours..i mean hours flown by you in a month...
      2) Yes..scholarship is there in spicejet cadet program...upto 30 lakhs...depending upon your 12th score/percentage or IIT JEE rank...
      3) I can’t say which program is good for you...because its a subjective question...and mainly depends upon your budget...i have already made a video about “ how you can select best cadet program “...you can refer that video if you want..

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cadet program gives your job assurance...not 100% guarantee...because they don’t know how you will perform during your training phase...also they have attempt limitation in each phase as per company policy...if you manage to clear all exams and checks as per their standards then...sooner or later you will be hired...
      In conventional there’s absolutely no job assurance at any point...If any airline...like say indigo have their own CPP where 100’s of cadets are already there...then why will they prefer outsiders...aap khud socho...koi chance hi nahi hai...so cadets will be given first preference forsure...over conventional doers...i mean in those airlines who are running their own CPP...type rated ke chances zada hain...as per my opinion...Thanks

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      One major reason i see is to balance/maintain their professional life, personal life and health especially ( kyuki flying aap jitna jada karte ho..per day jitne number of take offs and landing karte ho...vo sunne main bohot fun and exciting lag sakta hai ...but in reality its exhaustive and usse health bhi kaafi effect hota hai long run main )....in addition there are many things which varies airline wise...like base, roster pattern ( mainly ) , working environment, salary, promotion, perks and etc things i.e overall quality of life jo aap jeena chahte ho....which depends upon individual preference...kyuki ek time ke baad insaan ki priority bhi change hote jaati life main...aap sirf one sided apne baare main nai soch sakte.....haan jab tak aap young ho tab tak thik hai...but jab aapke uper family ki responsibility aaegi...ya aapki marriage hogi tab.... aap apne profession ke alawa bhi ..family ka saath ya kisi aur activity main time spend karna chahogey....and ye person to person vary karta hai ki aapko kitna tym kismain devote karna hai..but compare to air asia...indigo main aapko thoda jada flying karna hota hai...roster pattern is a bit exhaustive...jiski vajah se aapko baki chijon ke liye time kam milta hai..toh ye ek major reason hai according to me...baki working environment bhi matter karta hai...Thanks

      It’s included...Your airline will provide you all trainings from zero to till you join as a first officer...with their partnered flying academy/school/institute...ok bro...but you have to pay for it.... Thanks

    the domestic path is closed now also... do you have any idea when it gets opened as this happens very often.
    I will be very glad if you answer me.

      Right now everything is temporarily paused/closed due to corona.....no idea about reopening dates...as its upto airline...but it will definitely take sometime...like few years or so...as per my opinion...and
      Domestic path with CAE was closed long tym back...even before corona....so its not available....but after few years...Indigo again re-opened it with Chimes Aviation Academy in Jan 2020...but again...some accident happened there in which a trainee pilot and instructor died....then corona came and indigo closed it again.... Thanks

      Btw...students who already signed Letter Of Intent with Indigo...are undergoing training there...so school is in operation....but indigo is not conducting any exam from their side... Thanks

      Dear...you know yourself better than any other person in this world...so decide as per your own budget and personal preference.....as this is a very crucial decision...better take responsibility of it...and analyse each and everything....before taking any step....as each path have its own pros and cons....so do your risk calculations properly...and see if you can manage to do it or not.....because to be honest.. money is a major factor in this career....to sustain and survive...which student usually ignore at the time of taking admission....Thanks & All the best

    What happens when a student successfully completes hi cadet program..? Does he also have to give interviews or he is directly taken by the indigo..how much time after training it takes to get job..
    Does sucessfully completing the program guarantee u a job?

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First of all 100% guarantee is nowhere given in any type of cadet program...so same goes for Indigo...letter of intent is just an intention to hire you based upon your performance and certain conditions which you must comply throughout your course...if you perform well in all exams and checks then yes they will hire you...sooner or later....depending upon vacancies available in the airline at that particular time...
      Second point...there is no element of interview...post completion of training....so you directly join the airline after successful completion of your type rating and final sim check...which is conducted by the airline...
      Third point , your joining or job assurance depends upon vacancies available at that time and airline financial health...if everything is fine..then they will take you in for line training within 2-6 months maximum....or may be more depending upon number of cadets....but in worst case if something happens like jet airways case then you will get nothing at the end...as ups and downs is a part of this industry....considering all these things airlines give LOI only ...not 100% guarantee...
      Note : There are attempt limitation as well in all exams and checks throughout your training...if you manage to clear it within allowed limit then good.otherwise they might terminate your training and send you back...without any kind of refund...ok
      Thanks...

    • @CadetPilot
      @CadetPilot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes...You have to apply individually...
