The LEDs, mirrors and levers look great! The LEDs are bright too. Good idea with the hazard flashers, I have them on my bike, great for visibility when you have to stop on the road.
I think that modifying headlight with just a replacement LED has a major issue of glare for oncoming vehicles. The daytime visibility of the motorcycle itself becomes better but night time driving is pain in the eyes for the oncoming vehicles. This is because of the difference in light beam for low and high beam angles. With traditional headlights the beam angle is well defined and doesnt hurt the eye as it points down on the road. In modified headlamps fitted with bright LED, the reflector assembly cannot focus the light beam down and we end up with a hazy spread of light which to an extent is blinding. LED headlights which come as factory fitting items have a reflector assembly which is designed to have the correct beam angle to avoid blinding glares. You can compare the difference with Dominar and Himalayan. Dominar has the better assembly but it is still quite glaring. High and low beam on Himalayan doesn't vary much and is equally blinding in both modes.
I agree... Hence I have really lowered the angle of the headlight like to its maximum I think. I wish there were better aftermarket kits available with the whole assembly but we have to make do with what we have. This is why I didn't opt for auxiliary lights as well.

+Shuvrojyoti Kar bro it's your own decision like I said this was mine. That windscreen is too small and I didn't feel any difference by removing it. Yamaha only made it to look like Transformers character but I wish it was bigger. I think without the screen the bike looks more complete as naked street fighter 😊

Yea , I have whats called a Yamaha FZS1000 in europe . In the US we just call it an Fz1 . I was talkin about this yesterday with a friend . Its not even fun to ride legally cause 1st gear redline your going 70mph+ so that means 2nd gear up redline is faster than any road in my country legally . I want lucky luke's ride . I think it was a honda super 4 400cc inline 4
+Some dude absolutely true.. If you see the first version of this Yamaha FZ S it looks so much like the FZ1. It's like what started out as inspiration has now become a trend in Asia and Europe to make smaller displacement replicas. I would say for you a 600cc would be so much usable like for us it's between 300-600cc

Hey bro congratulations on the new bike! Technically some service centers can trouble you if your battery turns out faulty and blame it on modifications but thats untrue as we are using LED indicators and headlight which consumes less power. So its a 50/50 but I have had no problems so far.

are you able to use led headlight with the rain cover provided by the company for the headlights , because some people say that if we use it without the rain cover then the headlight assembly might fog up and dust might enter , you can comment on it better as you have been using it for a long time now
Nakul Sharma what rain cover bro? I'm having no fogging issues. You have to make sure the installation was done properly and if there are any gaps fill it with electrical tape.

i bought led headlight for my FZS 2009 version but the light look bright from front but i feel no light on the road coming from my headlight in busy traffic. Led also gone bad after sometime, so i bought HID which also does the same.

Bro kill switch is to be used in emergencies... It cuts off the fuel supply to the engine and especially useless when in a crash or something. Do not use it regularly 🙂
Shavez ahmed depends on dealers bro. Some will say it does, others will sell the same parts. You're not messing with any internal systems or the engine so it's fine in my opinion. LED's actually consume far less power and help the battery.

+Venkatesh V no I have not changed it.. This is the new design which is one piece. You can modify and put the tail tidy one like on Pulsar 135. New model will depend on dealers bro.. Check pricing online
Ritesh Mohapatra if it's the same model then yes they should fit. I had to use two washers for each side to fit properly so little bit of creativeness is definitely needed.
+rohan sharma no change. Battery won't be affected with LED's. Unless you use some halogen or something else. Also here service centers are bit more chill. Do check with them before.

Fzs fi is having fuel pump in the fuel tank if fuel level is TOO MUCH LOW d pump will run dry this will damage d pump over a time this is d only reason people say u shd hv atleast 2l of petrol in tank
Bro, I need a bit of an expertise here. I have an FZs 2014 model with a wet cell battery. I do have an HID installed. Planning to install a couple of fog lamps (leebo possibly) and these indicators. Would that be a good idea to go ahead with it?
+Ankan Bagchi yeah bro I don't think it will be a problem for the battery. Especially the indicators are low energy consuming. And I'm assuming you will use fog lamps only when needed. So just make sure they are fitted properly.
Phantom Rides Might I as well get the battery changed to Dry cell, for, I might use the fog lamps quite often at night. But then, will turn off the HID sometimes too

bro you should visit some or any mechanic shop and they can do it for you as you have to remove the wheels before painting

Yes it lasts long enough no problem so far and the quality is good. I used the help of a local mechanic.

+BerryTone bro it's just using a rubber washer in between or something to create a gap with a glue gun. That will let the accelerator move freely.
And one more thing what about the exhaust...is there any disadvantage of putting up exhaust in fz...?

i bought led headlight for my FZS 2009 version but the light look bright from front but i feel no light on the road coming from my headlight in busy traffic. Led also gone bad after sometime, so i bought HID which also does the same.

Bro kill switch is to be used in emergencies... It cuts off the fuel supply to the engine and especially useless when in a crash or something. Do not use it regularly 🙂

Shavez ahmed depends on dealers bro. Some will say it does, others will sell the same parts. You're not messing with any internal systems or the engine so it's fine in my opinion. LED's actually consume far less power and help the battery.

Yes bro the fan is attached to the bulb and it's on from the time you switch in the bike. I've not had issues.

+Mohit Sawant no they work as said. All mirrors have blind spots so do shoulder check on multi lane roads. Am using it without any problems.

While Searching for the awesome led indicator lights. Amazon is showing it doesn't fit for this bike. Can u assure that these will fit?
Ritesh Mohapatra if it's the same model then yes they should fit. I had to use two washers for each side to fit properly so little bit of creativeness is definitely needed.

+rohan sharma no change. Battery won't be affected with LED's. Unless you use some halogen or something else. Also here service centers are bit more chill. Do check with them before.

No such problems bro... The LED bulb consumes less battery power.

Mohit Sawant i also have same model.. And there is no need of 2 ltrs petrol to run it... It can be switch on with lesser petrol also

Fzs fi is having fuel pump in the fuel tank if fuel level is TOO MUCH LOW d pump will run dry this will damage d pump over a time this is d only reason people say u shd hv atleast 2l of petrol in tank
Bro, I need a bit of an expertise here. I have an FZs 2014 model with a wet cell battery. I do have an HID installed. Planning to install a couple of fog lamps (leebo possibly) and these indicators. Would that be a good idea to go ahead with it?
+Ankan Bagchi yeah bro I don't think it will be a problem for the battery. Especially the indicators are low energy consuming. And I'm assuming you will use fog lamps only when needed. So just make sure they are fitted properly.
Phantom Rides Might I as well get the battery changed to Dry cell, for, I might use the fog lamps quite often at night. But then, will turn off the HID sometimes too
