PAPPUS 101: Diverging from the Norms

Pappus 101 is a think tank which researches a variety of topics that are impacting people on a global scale, as well as, advocating for change at the individual human level. Collaborating with industry professionals to reinvent the wheel across a vast range of sectors such as business, science, engineering, architecture, education, and tech. By leveraging the differences in each individual's background, culture, thinking, and profession Pappus 101 aims to support and promote ideas for a better tomorrow.
The webinar will be presented by Afaf Naseem who is the founder of Pappus 101. She holds a Master in Architecture from the University of Glasgow, is a LEED Green Associate, and also trained in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation program at Northeastern University. Afaf volunteers in her spare time at the British Red Cross, as a Moderator for the Toronto Society of Architects, and is an Ambassador for Women in Construction. Having lived in 4 different countries and traveling extensively across the world she has been exposed to a vast range of environments and cultures. Afaf is empowered by learning from people from all walks of life and enjoys striking up conversations with strangers which she finds is the best way to get exposed to unique ideas.
