The way you have written duverney and obj surely they must have been lighting the league on fire for some other team and if not they atleast must be top contributor in your team last year right?
If stats don't matter, then why not give Mahomes the mvp? With every argument that they make for Josh, someone else is better in that arguments category.
It is wild to think Allan has basically the same yards passing tds, and ints (+2td -2ints) and Allan is front runner for mvp and Rodgers might get released lol
Because it's a combination of things. Allen has limited offense talent and a bad defense yet #2 in afc carrying the team on his back. Yall really have a tough time figuring that out? Lol

Allen through 18 pics last year. He was good but not even as good as he’s been this year. Lamar had a team full of injured backs and linemen and dominated the best teams. Josh Allen has a losing record to against teams who would make the playoffs this year and Lamar destroyed the bills this year
Stats were better, coupled with the most ints in the NFL. Struggling to make the playoffs until a week left in the season. The false equivalence will get you nowhere.
His turnover worthy play rate was actually one of the lowest in the NFL in 2023. Allen just had bad receivers and bad luck last year. He was first in yards and TDs. He had 15 more touchdowns than Lamar. His defense choking also took away 4 of his game winning drives which resulted in a slightly disappointing record. I have no idea why Lamar won it last year, he should win it this year tho.
@@Carlb328 you are delusional. Lamar has broken more records. Lamar has 41 TDs and 4 ints. His ints were literally ripped out the hands of his receivers. His passer rating is the greatest ever. Josh Allen has performed at such a high level that when he finally does have a day that is similar to Patrick Mahomes, they say he’s struggling.....wow.

I 100% agree. I think there should be an award for every position group. QB, skill players, O-line, defensive primary, defensive secondary, kicker, punter, returner, special teams coverage.

I see your point But my point is nobody has really run away with the award and when you compare the two records The mar is MVP, hands-down, and when the Lamar played Josh Josh got out played
I do think it opens the door a little but the reality is lamar put up 19 in a loss to the eagles and allen put up 48 to beat the lions. Imo thats tough to overcome. Lamar prob has a shot tho even tho id love to say allen is a lock. I pretty much hate lamar for choking against mahomes last year but dude is balling this year no doubt.
Bills defense has been garbage for 5 years. The only difference between this year and previous years is that they don’t stuff the stat sheet as much against bad teams
Not true. Lamar is playing amazing football. I look at it by the teams they are on position for position. Lamar also has two 1st round receivers. Are the Ravens position for position better than The Bills? I think so. I think its a push at QB. I also look at expectations before the season started. The Ravens were picked to win the AFC North and many have them going to the Super bowl. Most of the sports media picked either the Jets or Dolphins to win the AFC East and had Buffalo not making the playoffs. That has to mean something. If the argument is Allen can't be the MVP because Lamar has better stats, then why didn't that happen last year. There were other QB's with better stats than Lamar in 2023. We also can not leave out Barkley in Philly.
When you need excuses on why a candidate should receive the MVP, and one of them being that another candidate has multiple MVPs, then you lose. The MVP should be clear cut, no argument and no excuses.
EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!!!! Automatic lose if you're using the other candidate having multiple MVPs already and to let Josh get one!!! That's so weak and pathetic, he has to EARN IT!!! The moment they start just giving it to players without earning it, they significantly decrease the value of the award and at that point it could be bought.
I feel like people are exaggerating the, way better stats comment, Lamar only has 3 more touchdowns and has 1 more turnover than Allen. I get the completion percentage, and passer rating are different, but Josh has a higher qbr.
Nick loves to talk about the chiefs worst right tackle in football this year but forgets last year lamars offense had rookie receivers, practice squad running backs, no mandrews down the final stretch, etc. Thats part of why lamar got MVP last year. He wasnt just the last one standing, his team got injured too.
@Grtgooglymoogly1 yeah but when discussing injuries and downsides, any team not named the chiefs seems to be completely forgotten by nick, and some others. The ravens have guaranteed a playoff spot this year with one of the worst pass defenses. Context is important.
and this is why Allen should get it this year. Last year 4 to 5 QBs had better stats than Lamar and he got it. Using the same reasoning as last year, Allen should get it.
@Fabiano.Bittencourt last year no one had wildly better stats tho. And the ravens had the best record and top production last year too. If allen wasn't a literal roller coaster then I 100% agree with you he should get it.
The one thing people underestimate about the chiefs is they don't show their hand. While josh is willing to take off in the regular season and run, mahomes waits until it's the playoffs. Look at last years super bowl. Not a chiefs fan by any stretch but theyre being judged in a manner as if they're doing everything theyre capable of and in reality the mahomes scramble is kept on the shelf and it's a big difference maker.
It always amazes me how what one person says gets turned into someone’s interpretation. I watched Allen’s press conference. He didn’t say they were holding back but rather they didn’t put all of their playbook on display. They were running a pretty vanilla playbook and not executing it very well The defense is an area of concern but they were responsible for this win because of the three turnovers including the go ahead game winning touchdown.
They literally all just confirmed how important Josh is to the team and then followed it by talking about his passer rating keeping the door open for Jackson. The MVP is not a passer rating award, it’s for your importance to your team. Josh singlehanded won three of the previous four massive games. He unfortunately can’t play defense too.

Lamar has a better season, Because he won last year (not that strong of a year for QB's), people want somebody else, but so far he desereves it more than Allen, especially since Allen didn't do much yesterday
@stephanea5364: That & prime time game spotlight did help Lamar tbh, everyone saw the Ravens demolish the 49ers (who looked borderline unstoppable when healthy) around Christmas & that pretty much sealed the MVP for Lamar. Statistically Dak had a stronger case for MVP, with that said there is something to be said to watching the games & knowing Lamar’s impact.
Josh has definitely earned the MVP beyond question. He's breaking records left and right.
@@Carlb328 you are delusional. Lamar has broken more records. Lamar has 41 TDs and 4 ints. His ints were literally ripped out the hands of his receivers. His passer rating is the greatest ever.
The Bills won a game literally just like the Chiefs won 14 of their games this year.
The ravens had the #1 overall defense last year.
@Grtgooglymoogly1 yeah but when discussing injuries and downsides, any team not named the chiefs seems to be completely forgotten by nick, and some others.
The ravens have guaranteed a playoff spot this year with one of the worst pass defenses. Context is important.

@ 1000% agreed! Otherwise I don’t know think they’d lose half the games that they lost this season
Talking about Bills lack of defense like Lamar doesn’t have the 2nd worst secondary in NFL
Ravens have been the best defense via EPA since week 10....
@@lukevacca1537wow all it took was 66% of the season for them to figure it out. Cool
@@lukevacca1537they're 2nd worse in passing yards allowed on the whole season lol
So if he doesn't go hero mode it's hard for the bills to beat trash teams ...Hmmmm sounds like he's the mvp then
Give it to Saquon. I'm so sick of it being a QB award.
Naaa bc that's messed up for cmc last year!!
I love how you guys show behind the scenes with the 3 main guys but it'd be fun to see coach and Greg behind the scenes as well
Allen’s mvp case getting more hurt by actually beating a bad team than Lamar’s when he actually lost to 2 bad teams is insane
But Lamar lost 5 times 😂😂😂
@@mrsnftaand he has 10 wins, and he has better stats, he has 2 more mvps, he has to save his team, lamar is 0-4 when his passer rating is under 114, allen has a winning record when his is under 114
Lamar didn't play as bad in his losses and his defense his worse than the Bills by a decent margin. Lamar has more great games and less bad ones. He should be MVP favorite
@TheRealMallard a sane football fan
Defense lost those games to the Browns & Raiders. People are forgetting or didn't watch the games
Thank you coach for bringing some sense to the table.
Lamar has been the best player in the league this year. He's the MVP. There's no argument against it.
SAQUAN BARKLEY. That’s the real MVP. Lamar isn’t the MVP until he’s not a regular season star.
@@royhobbs5167saquon has won what exactly? You say reg season but we’ll, that’s what the award is for lol
Besides the fact that everyone besides Ravens fans disagree with you.
There is a cogent argument against it for sure. By last year's logic 2024 mvp is Allen's. There's no excuses.
Mangini nailed it in the last words of the segment. That is why it is Allen and it shouldn't be a debate. Lamar is playing amazing, but the Ravens look the best when Henry is the one carrying the game. Bills look the best when Allen is the one carrying the game and he is the only one on that team that can.
Lamar been mvp
5 loses with no2 rb in league
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Maybe if it was 2019 again.
@@B.Piercesports Allen just got carried by James cook against a terrible team
Facts
Honestly we all killed them in the past for the upload schedule but now we need to praise them👏🏽
This JOSH Allen narrative is because Lamar and Josh came out in the same draft. Everyone said Josh was a FUTURE star and Lamar should change position. Crazy how Lamar has 2 MVPs because Ravens had BEST RECORD IN NFL. Bills won't get #1 Seed so record means nothing. If Ravens get #3 Seed, Lamar will be MVP.
Lamar didn't deserve it last season... his numbers were mid at best. He won it because of ther Ravens historically good defense.
@@ForsakenWarhe won’t last year because everyone else wasn’t good enough. This season that isn’t the case.
If ravens win division Lamar should win mvp. If ravens get 5 seed Josh should get mvp
No that is not what they said, they said Allen was overdrafted and would be a huge bust. They were and you are, wrong.
Such a muted discussion but fair
I hope Lamar gets the MVP so he can no show in the playoffs again
MVP is giving after playoffs
What has Josh done 😂
@ i hate the Chiefs and the Chiefs fear Josh Allen CJ has said this they don’t fear Lamar in the least bit. I’d rather have the player the defending champs fear
@@soar011belize but then they beat them so clearly they don’t fear enough and that season when Patrick Mahomes was able to get a field goal in less than 15 seconds that didn’t show no fear
@@leoallen2016 I’m talking about the Chief’s defense if you gave them the option on who to play they would say Lamar.
The reason the record thing dosen't make sense when comparing it to last year is the ravens had the best record in the nfl. The bills have like the 5th best record
Bills are 12-3 dude. Allen put the mvp away last week
All the Lamar glazers will suddenly bring up stats, and they all developed short term memory loss too because a year ago “stats don’t matter.” Allen has been the best player in the NFL for multiple years now, and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if he got snubbed again.
When did we say stats don’t matter ?
Definitely not multiple seasons. Mahomes has always been the best player.
He's never been the best player in the league lol. The media tried to force that narrative and the Chiefs and Mahomes had to spank him in the playoffs repeatedly to shut that up. The league even changed rules for him and you're complaining about him being "snubbed" lol. He's just not that guy 😂😂😂
@@scruffd0g193 okay buddy. Keep sipping the Koolaid, one day that’ll be true I’m sure.
Mahomes hasn’t been good since Eric Bienemy left.
Last year Josh wasn't even top 4 in voting 🤷🤦💯 plus Lamar Jackson blowed out Josh Allen... And he's flirting with the highest passer rating NFL history numbers along with heroic numbers 🤷💯💯💯...
By the way ...they seem to wana force feed the mvp to josh ....even tho lamar is 100% having a better season than josh ...
“Whisper” what if burrow sneaks in to the playoffs…
Nothing, Lamar or Josh is winning it 1000%
They need a lot to happen and I just don’t see it
the Bengals would beat the Bills on wildcard weekend if it happens but it wont because they need the Colts to lose to the Jags or Giants and thats not happening
It's a two horse race. Kinda nuts though that the QB of a 16-1 team and three time super bowl champion won't even be a pro bowler though
I just dont like how some QBs can have a good game - 200 yards, 3 td, 1 INT, and they are amazing MVP frontrunner, while other qbs can go 300+ 3TD 0 INT and they don't even get talked about anywhere near the conversation. Lamar played a good game, but that isn't an MVP performance by any means. He also lost to the browns and raiders putting up stinkers.
But those stinkers compared to Josh’s stinkers is wayyyy worse and also lamar the qb that many ppl said can’t throw has the best td to int ratio and is about to have 40+ passing tds and also the Steelers game helped bc all the ravens vs Steelers game have all ended 7 pts or less the ravens won by 17 so it def helped
40 passing TDs
4,000+ passing yards
1,000 yards rushing ( almost )
AND PEOPLE ARE SAYING JOSH ALLEN 🤣🤣
It's because Lamar won it last year meaning merit doesn't matter so just give it to whoever at this point.
@@jayceh😂 that makes no sense
@@Dragon-os8mo doesn't make sense to you maybe
We just said stats and performance doesn't matter as recently as last year
And now this year you want to go back to, who had the best stats and performance

Tryna give Josh an Embid ahh MVP over Lamar
Stats matter. Coach jumps in: Context matters too.
If stats mattered, Lamar wouldn't have been in the conversation last year. This award is dumb
@@WhydoIsuddenlyhaveahandle If stats really mattered then stupid Bills fans would have disqualified Allen themselves with his 20+ interceptions and went with Lamar's superior stats and winning percentage against playoff teams. Lamar is doing better than Allen in a harder division and a harder schedule.
@@WhydoIsuddenlyhaveahandleLamar got the 1 seed and beat up on everyone last year bro. If you’re Trying to vouch for Allen he had almost 20 picks. If you wanna vouch for dak his numbers came from beating up tomato cans. It’s simple
in 2023 reg season and playoffs COMBINED Allen had 51 tds and 22 total turnovers. Including 7 tds 0 turnovers in playoffs. Lamar can't hold Allen's jockstrap.
The Bill's beat KC and Detroit. Josh is the MVP! ❤
Lamar has one of if not the top running back in the league, kinda hard to give it to him cause Allen has done way more with way less
Lamar does have a top running back. Yet, when Lamar is typically picking defenses apart, Justice Hill is the back on the field, not Derrick Henry. Derick Henry for several stretches of many games has been on the sideline while Lamar produced on the field. And Josh literally hasn’t done more than Lamar.
The Bills had a cupcake schedule in comparison to the Ravens. Aside from the Chiefs and a beat up Lions, and the inconsistent Rams.
@ I’m not going to say your wrong, because 2 things can be true. But regardless of when Henry is on and off the field, let’s not discredit the 1600+ yards he has for the season so far. As far as the schedule goes, you play the team you have in front of you, can’t do nothing about that. Keep in mind the ravens lost to the raiders and browns, those are easy wins. As far as the lions go, hurt or not, they still put up 35+ points 😂 and the rams are inconsistent, they were hurt for most of the year and Kupp and Nacua were in and out of the line up so can’t really knock that against them because they’re winning when they have too. All I’m saying is Allen lost have his team and is doing more with less, Lamar has multiple threats on offense, a HOF kicker (has been up and down) and multiple all pros on defense. But none of this matters if they don’t produce in the playoffs. Better hope Lamar doesn’t forget how to run and use his legs like last year
Lamar won 2 MVPs before he even had a season with a loaded offense. This is first season he has such an offense and his stats are showing he’s doing more than expected in terms of holding up his end of the bargain with QB play. Lamar should not get penalised for this whatsoever
@@Galero15 ravens had a top 3 defense last year and on offense the only thing he didn’t have was Derrick Henry, so I’m not having that 😂 he always has teams good enough to win but HE always comes short lol that’s why he gets criticized on TV the way he does. He’s too good to be playing pedestrian in the post season.
@@Galero15 baloney!
Josh, Lamar and Saquon are all deserving of the MVP
By the same standards that handed the mvp to Lamar in 2023 over the more deserving Allen, Allen is the 2024 MVP. They can't have it both ways.
Where are all the Bills fans who think playing close games with bad teams makes you overrated?? 🤔🤔
What do you mean? Lamar has lost against the browns and raiders 😂. Not only that ,the dude has as many mvps as playoff wins 😂
How about losing to them
@@kaza_family5950 um I agree with you on Lamars losses to bad teams.. I’m a chiefs fan. When the Chiefs win close games with bad teams, it means Mahomes is washed, and KC is a fraudulent overrated team. Just want to know if the same applies to yall?
Naw we still do. 😂😂😂 Especially EVERY game
@@kaza_family5950I always like how it’s Lamar lost like Kyle Hamilton didn’t drop a game sealing int with 1 minute to go.
Jared Goff is the MVP. 71% completions. 4,000 yards. 33/10. Nuff said.
Small hands
Lamar is far better. 68% completion. 4500 total yards. 40/4.
Nah
Considering he’s bringing the detroit lions of all teams to the 1-seed for the first time ever, yeah i think he should win it. That one Texans game where 3 of those INTs weren’t his fault is the only reason people aren’t taking him more seriously for MVP …and then he got a perfect passer rating the very next week with 400+ yds and 4 TDs lmao
Goff doesn't have a top five quarterback rating. That equals little consideration.
The OPOTY award gonna be more respected than the MVP award soon
