Thanks for this video. I wasn't sure if I should invest in a set of these needles and your video helped me decide on the purchase. I am really liking them!
I was looking through TH-cam for a review on the Lykke Blush set. I’m new to knitting and am having so much fun that want to invest in an interchangeable circular set. I’m glad to have found this video. Your lipstick is lovely too! Happy New Year! Isabella
Thank you for this video. Looking at buying my first interchangable set after learning to knit and these were a front runner, so happy to find this review
I have a set of Lykke interchangeable needles and I LOVE using them! My favorite thing about the set I bought is the larger size needles are longer, so I’m much more comfortable knitting with bigger sizes and bulkier yarns. The smallest needle that came in the set was a 7, but I bought 5’s, and 6’s separately.
Thank you , I enjoyed this.I’m not the most prolific knitter , nor the best, but I do love nice needle. I mainly use circular ones and I love the small Lykke sock circulars 9” I think. I have Lykke dpns which I haven’t used yet ,but I can tell they will be fabulous. I love ChiaoGoo lace, and I like HiyaHiya too , but not the sharps, the way I knit , they jab my finger , possibly great if you knit continental. Knit Pro are good in the fact they are easily found on the internet. Also I have had and loved Prym circulars , the drawback to them was the size rubs off when you used them , apart from that I liked them. I do wish it was easier to access these lovely needles and I would definitely spend my money on these kinds rather than , say the ones called ‘pony’ which are the only ones available to me locally ( hobby craft). The last ones a bought were from Tribe. Wonderfully fast service from them. I also love love clover amour crochet hooks. Thank you once again.💕
I've got the Lykke Cypra copper needles ...have you tried them and what's your opinion of them? I like them a lot but yes they are more blunt than some assorted others I have inherited
no i have not i am thinking of investing in a set of interchangables so many to choice from i am a beginer knitter i want to try socks and a shawel and fingerless mits i have almost no sight
Hi Debra. Thank you for watching. It's worth buying single cables & needle tips to try before buying a full set of interchangeable needles. Then if you like them you can build your collection.
I believe the Lykke needles have a 5 year warranty! Thinking of replacing my 10+ year old set of knitpicks with a Knitpro ginger set and a short Lykke set 😊 I got a pair of the Lykke short and was surprised they're not 9cm/3.5in but they're actually 7cm. Better for me and my small circular knitting.
@@AnnikenAllis Yes! I have so many friends that sat and broke their wooden needles. They didn't break their Lykke ones so I can't say how the warranty process is but I did see in some YT videos that they were sent new needles/cables with no problem.

That's interesting about the larger sizes being longer. I only have 4mm, 4.5mm & 3.5mm as they're the needles I use 90% of the time.
I like the blue and pink ones! I might get some to try!
Love the pink Lykke
@@AnnikenAllis they look gorgeous!!! I’m really enjoying knitting and see myself building up a collection so I’m sure I’ll pick some up at one point!

I've never tried Prym & i agree Pony are awful. Some of my Lykke needles came from Tribe. Great shop.
I agree Pony are awful! I've not tried Prym. Love Tribe. Visited once just a month before the first lockdown. Fab shop. Ordered online from them too.

Hi, thanks for the review. :)
Is there a difference in feel between the different colors?
No they feel the same to hold & knit with.

I think they are are Norwegian brand.
@asha6343 it's certainly a Norwegian name but I thought it was an American company as I've not seen these needles in Norwegian yarn shops.
