Thanks for sharing your spinning efforts. I always like to hear how others resolve issues -- gives me hope that I can figure things out too! Your yarn looks fantastic. I just got my first wheel a couple of weeks ago and progress is slow but there is progress.

I was given a wheel but I have no idea what it is or how to use it. It also needs some maintenance

I have a set of 35mm straight single point Karbonz I purchased one of those shorter 25mm ones actually by mistake, at the time I didn't realise single point needles came in that shorter length so I hadn't checked when I ordered them. Unfortunately they are too short to fit under the armpit which was how I learned to knit so I. Immediately replaced with a 35mm one. It was the experience of working with the Karbonz that enticed me into buying a complete set of them they were considerably smoother and lighter than any other needle. There is a proviso with that and that is the type of yarn your working with for very thin yarns they can catch the yarn slightly. I have recently picked up a set of interchangeable Karbonz to try get used to them and initially have been pleased with them but it's still a bit early to tell if they can prize me away from my straight needles or if they will stay in their packaging most of the time.

Thank you Anniken I have been knitting 65 years and recently knit for the first time top down fisherman’s rib cardigan with circular needles and found a mistake some rows down and really struggled repairing. This was using black yarn. What I learnt! Check each row 😂

I don't do a lot of lace knitting, but tend to weave ends in as I knit, like when knitting two or more colours. Can you not do that with lace knitting

Anniken I just finished knitting a blanket for a friend who during back surgery went instantly blind . I used dish towel patterns with her favotite things and made my own blanket pattern from them. I was thinking that the garter stitch is similar to Braile for the Blind and I also finished knitting 10 Baby Blankets for the Linus Club for Chariety,

Thank you for the review. I have the heirloom set of Lantern Moon, and I really like them. I find the ebony wood has a great feeling. So most of my knitting now is done either by Lantern Moon needles or Chiaogoo needles as I love both sets (for different reasons).

I can’t keep up with all your lovely designs! I’m having a clear out and found a copy of an old knitter magazine. There are two of your designs in it waiting for me to cut them out and knit them. You’re a very busy lady indeed!
