    I'm from Upstate South Carolina , alot like the region where these vehicles are being tested . In my neck of the woods there are children tearing around trails on their fathers' hunting four wheelers similar to this but without as much kit . These kind of offroad vehcles are often used by hunters to access hunting areas without spooking game animals . I think a generation of youths grown up driving these sort of vehicles and adept at controlling drones via video games could be the future of mobile clandestine warefare.

    Needs a machine gun and gunner/more 360 armor and at least a 10 vehicle unit.

    It should carry two either modular or collapsible stretchers so the can be utilised for rain cover, putting them on the metal Panels used to put under the wheels if needed fjt traction, put them underneath the stretchers in the roof to stop rain entering the vehicle from above, rain at angles will still come in, or they could just use a tailor made camo roof tarp/cover.

    We had Jeeps in World War 2….this will do nicely; you guys should have detachable plates on the side for armour for applying after the vehicle touches down on the field

      Rovers and quads have been used successfully to do exactly the same thing as well a whole host of other vehicles. I'm pretty sure we re supped water and ammo as well as conducted casevacs in hot climates before... Not a game changer but probably fun to drive.

    • @Elevenbravo_ABN

      Yes, under extreme conditions. Fort Polk can be 100 degrees plus. Also, these guys are carrying at least 50 pounds of gear each, and hiking a few miles per day.
      Heat casualties are always a problem, and a bad one can kill you, or leave you with organ damage.

    Where do the British design their vehicles?? no armor, no roof for rain to protect from the elements. This ain’t Halo and the warthog now. Just get a vechicle with a roof and windows ain’t hard to open the door.

    Extremely surprised the US would make this as IMO it's not the greatest desgin. Extremely open, no armor, no weapons, still get soaked by water. It seems like it would be the "golf carts" for higher ranking officers to travel at a base, but in a military version lol. Wouldn't really even be useful against 3rd world nations. I wonder what the US had in mind for these. More for export?

    • @alexgorski1806
      @alexgorski1806 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tarps and plastic windshields are a thing, incase you've never used something like this before. you could mount a light machine gun on it probably. and yea it might have no armor but what it does have is better stability at high speeds and less ground pressure so it cant get stuck in light mud.
