They indicate the path we have in this life, what we have brought over from the previous one, and what are the twists and turns to expect. Like it is even stated in the Bhagwad Gita, we definitely have some amount of free-will. Rather than laying the blame elsewhere (planets, other humans, things, animals), maybe let us accept the responsibility we have, and rectify it by doing good, being good; also, getting good done! lets see, I have scorpio ascendent, pisces moon sign, sun and saturn in libra (12th house), currently saturn in 9th transit from moon, jupiter in 6th transit from moon and Ketu dasha. (sun is owner of career house, debilited) ok, only considering transits, yes i might feel this isnt the best phase I am in. Still, I have 2 choices: a. turn fatalistic and go "oh my God, its all over" and actually feel the heat. or b. think over this and start doing appropriate prayers and remedies. At the very least, prayers will keep me in good spirits. I think is it important that everyone understands: a. planets dont control us. they only indicate the path. b. prayers and remedies (for all grahas). Then, let everyone start doing the remedies to a certain extent. In good times, they act like insurance for the bad times. In bad times, they help reduce the effects. Yes. You are right. That is the physical level. That will affect all the human beings and everything on earth. That does not have specific connections with our Karma. I was saying that the planets indicate and does not control. All planets influence other planets etc. Gravity etc is common to all. Hope you understood.

Let me put this way, planets control us without any intentions. Just they are part of mechanism. We need to understand the planets influences in different dimensions to understand reality. Yes there are 2 kinds of effects 1. Common influences like Sun light and Moon light experience by every human being on the earth 2. Individual influences on every human being call it as individual destiny but planets are not the reason for your individual destiny like court is not the reason for your crime but punish you. Actually we destined to take birth at particular planetary configuration such that we receive some good and bad energies from the planets. According to good and bad energies your particular area of life will be affected. So planets are energies basically. Let me give you 2 examples for better understanding. 1. If you have good confident levels that may because of Sun and Mars placed well in your horoscope. But don’t think planets don’t want you to not become confident! You can also affect the planets if you are conscious enough!! 2. If I did not take care of my mother or motherly figure in my previous birth as required my Moon in the current life birth chart will be placed badly hence you will not get comforts from your mother and also your mental energy not up to the mark or completely damaged based on the energy you received from the moon while you took birth. But don’t assume everything in the current life based on previous karma. If that is true we are like machines and there is no meaning for evaluation!! The remedies are for reversing the Karma. We use planetary positions to understand Karma. The clock is not the reason for TIME. The clock shows the time, thats all there is to the clock. For example, my Mercury is debilitated and I was asked to wear an Emerald. I was said, to strengthen my Mercury I should wear this stone. If it's only an indicator then why should I wear? Regarding the topic in question - I agree with you that planets are indicators and are mistakenly taken as cause of events. It makes sense. However, if that is case, then why do astrologers, yourself included if you don't mind my pointing out, prescribe planet specific remedies to reduce the effects of a dasha / bhukti / transit or even a placement? For example, praying on thursdays for Guru, or wearing emerald for mercury, or feeding crows to appease Saturn etc. If a planet does not cause an event, then surely it cannot change the impact of an event in real-time either?
Namaste, the remedies are not to control the planets but to enable the concerned soul start working on his or her lessons. For example, if Surya is weak in a native's chart then the corresponding karma might involve disrespect of father or ruler in the past birth/s and hence, the remedies will surely involve respecting current birth father and government. Remedies like charities primarily focus on sharing our blessings with the needy. Amongst the needy, based on our karma, we would have to focus on the right sections of society - that is where our learning lies. For example, if Shani is weak then the soul should learn to care for elderly and physically challenged - it's a new area for the soul. Demonstrating that we are indeed learning the intended lesson will enable us channel the positive gifts of the concerned planet.

If all the planets are only indicating and not influencing/impacting human life, then Lucky gems, dosha parihara, pooja and charity should not have any impact at all. What I am trying to tell in this video is that many who use Astrology think that planets are the cause. They blame the planets. They do not understand that we are the creators of our destiny. The destiny is indicated by the planetary positions at birth.

If all the planets are only indicating and not influencing/impacting human life, then Lucky gems, dosha parihara, pooja and charity should not have any impact at all. What I am trying to tell in this video is that many who use Astrology think that planets are the cause. They blame the planets. They do not understand that we are the creators of our destiny. The destiny is indicated by the planetary positions at birth.

If Karma is true it should be experienced by that person in the same life where he did bad karmas because Karmas are done using his body and consciousness and the results of that Karma should also be experienced in the same body body and consciousness. If it is in the next life then there is a new consciousness and a new body. If so Karma theory is false.
what if the consciousness is the same life after life? are you not the same being even though you were in a baby, then child, then teenager, then adult, then old man. You are mixing body. What I meant was Planets are not the cause of Karma. They are indicators of Karma. Otherwise the entire blame goes to the planets. What you discussed is gross effects of heavenly bodies on us. That kind of Moon should affect everyone. The Sun should affect everyone in the same way. Saturn should. On the other hand we see for some people good things happen to them during Saturn period while for others it is a nightmare. When people come to me for consultation some of them ask.... why is this planet doing this to me.? I tell them it is not doing anything on you. Your karma is doing it. But the planet indicates it.

I slightly disagree with this statement. It may be true that the planets do not control people, but nonetheless there is a coercion that can be very hard to resist. Especially the negative influence. Besides that, people can sometimes suffer even though they haven'tt done anything to deserve this !
