Yeah, mine was this year, and it took a longer time (3 months). My employer used a legal firm, and the LMIA was approved about 2 weeks after they applied. The Work Permit application process timeline for me was: Work Permit Application - April 13 Biometrics Request - April 14 Biometrics - April 28 Passport Request - July 11 (3 months from when we applied and about 10 weeks after Biometrics) Sent the passports - July 20 We got it stamped within 1 week and got back our passports within 2 weeks.
