One of the most beautiful pieces you've made. I'm going to have to watch it again, to check all the products you used. I can't believe how quickly the Art Class resin set up. When you colored the stamp I was a bit surprised because I thought that meant you were leaving it in the piece, is never have dreamt it would leave the gold behind.

The streaks of color in the 'petals' make me think of when you put a white daisy in colored water (or a carnation, etc.). The flower gets streaks of color going into the petals.

What an amazing mold! What an amazing pour! I really like the flower stamp in the middle. If you hadn't colored the center (which is quite pretty, imo), a black background would make it pop. Not too harsh, I don't think? The petals are amazing! ❤

easiest way to find the center is to take a piece of string and tape it straight across to the opposite side from about three of the points. It should mark the center perfectly.

This is my favorite by far
Start with one color in the center and circle band the others. Maybe use red blue and yellow and where the colors meet,blend with a swirl.or line out, line in, line out for each peddle.

Just a thought, use your turntable/spinner so you can turn the mold to suit instead of bumping into your other products. Turned out so pretty, clever lady.

Hi Julie you always say that you don’t know how much resin you’re going to have to use. Why don’t you before you or after you make the moles put water in them to see how much water fits mark that on the bottom of the resin I mean market on the bottom of the mold and then you have an idea of how much resin you’re gonna use and save your brain.
