An F50 honestly has to be peak ferrari. You get that high pitched v12 sound that you don't get with the enzo, manual trans, no assists, no power steering, no roof(unless you want to), a stripped dashboard that just gives you the basics that you need, no more, no less.
To see an F50 on the highway is almost a life changing sight. You made alot of memories for the general public on that trip. Much props for driving them like they should be driven. Epic
Ferrari of Nashville currently has an F40 and F50 upstairs in their show room. I can see them every time I pass by the dealership. I’ve been wanting to stop by and visit but just can’t get away.
I’ve seen an F40 and a 918 spyder back when I lived in Dallas. Ferrari of Nashville has an F40 and F50 upstairs in their showroom. I’ve been wanting to stop and look at them but never seem to have time.
Couldn't believe my eyes when I turned the corner at my local Tallahassee gas station and saw a bright yellow Ferrari F50 getting fuel. What a treasure it was to witness this car in person and grab some pics. Not to mention the entire crew was incredibly kind and stoked to have someone as excited as they were about the car. Thanks again!
Now this is what a passionate car collector does! People are parking their McLaren/Lamborghini's, etc, in a garage or will never expose it to rain, but you are taking an F50 through it all. A Ferrari F50 !!! Levels!!! HUGE RESPECT!!!!
Great that you have unique choices in colours for the F40 and F50. Giallo has to be one of the best colours on an F50. Even better, that you're using the heck out of it, and giving other people the pleasure of seeing one of these extremely rare cars, on the road.
I remember in 2005 or 2006 taking my shuttle to school, in Fort Lauderdale, it was raining like crazy and I look at my right, I saw a red F50, no top, driver and passenger soaked into the water, at least 5-6 gallons of water was on the footwell, the drivers foot was submerged. that was the first time I saw an F50. Kudos to you driving an F50.
I just admire and respect you for driving the F50 over such a distance, in the rain from A to B. That's the real spirit! I'm not saying it wrong when I say you probably enjoyed every mile along the way.
I love the power of the internet. I was recently on a road trip from Toronto to Orlando, was driving on the I-95 when I see a yellow Ferrari coming up behind me. It's not until it's passing me I realize it's a F50 ! I thought that's got to be rare. Turns out it is! only 31 ever made. Then I google yellow Ferrari F50 Florida and this video pops up! what are the chances the one I see has a vlog detailing its journey! very kool indeed. Beautiful car, and good for you for actually driving it AND road tripping it!
What a dream journey in the stunning Ferrari F50. I've always loved the F50 more than the F40 and it's always great to see even the most expensive and rare Ferraris being driven and enjoyed to the fullest as they're meant to be.
What a trip! So great to see that you are driving and enjoying your cars, and letting others enjoy them by getting to see them! Respect for driving 1300 miles in that beautiful F50, and in the rain too!!! Love the channel!
Great road trip! Love to hear the stories connecting with fellow enthusiasts. As the owners of these nice cars, it's our responsibility to help keep that fire burning with the next generation. Jay Leno is my influence and now, The Gentleman's Garage is too. TY!
Amazing sights seeing this beauty on the road. I can’t believe I missed you stopping by LSU, I didn’t even hear about an F50 driving through campus! Hopefully I can see you when/if you pass back through. Keep up the absolutely amazing content and keep driving these beautiful cars!
Road trip in a F50 will be a good memory. Enjoy it! We also took a road from Houston to Florida(Orlando) a couple days ago. Unfortunately not in my corvette.
Legendary car and a fantastic video! thanks for sharing! its sooo great to see that car doing lots of miles! so much respect to you....! does the Ferrari f50 has storage for luggage ?
@ kudos, never understood the I have a nice car thing but I’m afraid to drive it mindset. To me it’s like dating a super model back when they were biological women and attractive and not rearranging her guts but saving her for next guy🤣
That's a true inspiration to get out and drive! If you can take the F50 out in the pouring rain I can use my "poor man's Porsche" Cayman987.1 to go to the grocery store tomorrow. Just have to park it "strategically". 😉
Very cool that you are road tripping the F50. Will you be road tripping one up to the FCA National Meet in Charlotte in September? If so it would be cool to see one of your cars there!
@@thegentlemansgarage_ I have seen F50 plates (internet pictures) installed on a stand coming from underneath, like a lip. Holes are probably drilled underneath the bumper :) Looks cool and different
Major props for roadtripping this classic but it was disappointing to have music played instead of the sound of the wonderful naturally aspirated having derived v12.
I wish we had cool dudes who actually drive their Ferraris in the Netherlands… I mean we have like 20+ F40’s but Dutch carspotters never see an F40 in the wild
Love seeing this car in good hands
It’s still shown as available for inquiry on your website, did it sell?

Couldn’t agree more.

@@thegentlemansgarage_ There are absolutely multiple kids for whom you made a core memory by seeing a yellow F50 driving in the rain. Awesome!

You put more miles on your F50 in a couple days than the owners of all the other F50's did combined for the year.
😂 Hopefully we can inspire them to enjoy their cars!

Was truly great meeting you as well!
You sir are a legend. Respect and I aspire to reach this lifestyle.
You can do it!
Hilarious to see an F50 being road tripped while a Tesla is being towed to a charger 😂
All cars of this caliber should be driven. The world deserves to lay eyes on such masterpieces.
Hoping to inspire more to drive them!
It's great to see an F50 being used as intended!
I think Ferrari intended use on some slightly more exciting roads.
@@beanykey True, but at least it's not just sitting in a collector's warehouse with zero miles on it.

I love that your editor used period correct synth-pop as the background music 👌
Lucky motorists to have seen a F50 in the wild.
A lot of people waved and took picture!

Makes me smile seeing these icons getting thoroughly enjoyed
Me too!
Bravo! Memories for a lifetime, well-done
Deffo don't see an F50 on the road everyday. What a treasure.
Agreed!
You drove it all the way! You are the best!!!
❤
3:49 - Irony captured in one frame - the mustang/shelby owner towing his car on a flatbed while an F50 is rolling down the highway right next to him 😄
Good catch! We had a laugh about it too
This is very cool, I hope you do more drives! I drove my Evo 2 replica from Canada to Monterey for car week and back last year.
Uh…U are da man!!! Awesome!!
For me hands down probably the car period. F1 v12 in a road car are you kidding me.

Can’t squeeze that in on top of my race schedule. Great show I hear!
Do you ppf all of your cars?
Absolutely. It’s a must.
Merci pour le rêve...
Hopefully it is fully PPF
Where do you fit luggage for 2 for 2 weeks?
It was a two day road trip. F50 has custom luggage that fits in the front bonnet.
I would assume in the rolls-Royce
I remember a yellow one owned by gregb23 with hippo stickers on both sides. his trademark😂
Sick car
Thanks!

How do you get by in TX without a front license plate?? Fellow Houstonian.
