I have 2 Neverfull MM and 2 Goyard St-Louis GM. I love that the Artois has the reinforcement at the corners. I would not really close the bag though, I just love my totes open and super easy to reach inside. Plus when I travel I always overflow it! 😂 So the zipper is not something that sold the bag to me, but the corners and the interior pocket like the Neverfull has are nice! I know for a fact that my St-Louis would never endure what my oldest Neverfull did without big signs of fatigue.😂 It doesn’t matter much when you have many bags, but having just one, like I did for many years, the Neverfull MM would be the one I would keep since the strap never been an issue for me really. It fits under my arm nicely. Oh and last thing why I picked the St Louis in the GM and not a Neverfull, it’s because I can totally fold the St-Louis and just put it in my suitcase if I don’t want to use it. We cannot do that with any Neverfull, it’s still too structure for it. Anyway, it’s always interesting to hear other opinions and how we can experience these bags differently.
That was great seeing the insert for the NF. Just bought this exact LV bag and love the slouchy look so worried an insert would ruin it but can see from your video that it doesn’t come right to the top which is great. Thanks 😀

Great review….. the Goyard bags are lovely, but I have known quite a few people who have said, the canvas is not durable at all. I trust these women. They are careful people. I will stick with my Damier Ebene GM. I wear it only in the colder months.
I’d say the monogram canvas is more durable than the damier ebene - my speedy and nf are DE and the corners have rubbed a bit. I was worried about how floppy the goyard was so I got a feure La page tote, which has leather patches on the corners. Love the burgandy colour

I’ve never handled a Goyard tote but the material seems kind of flimsy. I’m actually interested in a Faure Le Page tote. I was able to see it in Paris and I liked the quality.

I´s a beautiful summer bag. I actually love the strap drop because no winter coats in summer and very comfy on the shoulder. I often need to carry totes and so I could use one more. Maybe a Goyard? I have both and can smash the LV around more. ❤ Both very similar but I find the LV always looks a bit dirty.. the handbag angels inserts are amazing, they send it packaged beautifully, don’t they! I added the bottle holder and a base, the base is awesome. I’m surprised you said the staff were rude in Goyard, Paris, I find them very great and always get me what I ask for, despite the difficult to get pieces. Interesting, maybe you went on an off day. It does move fast in there, in and out method. That might be why? Did you go in the main store or the smaller one across from it? M

I agree. The shine I see in all these videos and sounds give off raincoat material. I prefer the feel of leather, calf and snake. I feel everyone is forcing themselves to like these bags because of the price and exclusivity of the stores.
LOVE the Goyard! Color is great and it pops with the organizer. BTW, on the LV, I have been studying up and trying cleaning the vachetta from bags I have. 2 brands to try that are good are Lexol and Chamberlain's. Amazon has them in the US. Maybe they have this in UK also. Conditioning it also helps. Lots of good YT videos on how-to.
I have both the bag goyard without the zip and neverfull . Goyard the bag is much lighter but my straps keep falling 😢 And honestly never full leather feels more luxurious.
I need a new tote. I have the chanel deauville but it’s heavy. It’s for a mom/ baby bag so I need it large. I was looking at LV neverfull gm or goyard Artois mm or goyard Anjou gm. When I went into LV, everything was made so horribly! It’s crooked, leather was peeling, things and hardware weren’t even. And wavy zippers on the pochettes. It’s so sad because my old LV stuff is amazing and hard wearing. I find it more stressful to find a good piece of LV. I went though 3 Palm Springs mm backpacks to get to a good one. That’s not fun, especially for the price. As much as I love the practicality of LV, the quality has been horrible

Artois MM has been in my wishlist for about a year and last week I decided to get it in Paris. It was 2200€. I am so happy with it. For me the strap drop is really important as we wear coats 9 months out of a year.

LV, Goyard, Faure le Page, Pinel et Pinel, Delage, Moreau, Moynat, La Tanneur, etc. Personally the Faure le Page daily battle tote wins for me because of the adjustable straps, reinforced corners, no fussy vachetta, & more structure. (And you can see prices online and/or don't have to wait in queue for 2 hours!)

I’ve heard good things about Faure le Page. The material definitely doesn’t feel flimsy on the Artois. Maybe a little more so on the St Louis x
