- Nick Johnston performing "A Cure Promised" on his signature Diamond Series PT's. The new Schecter Nick Johnston PT kicks up the heat and comes to you with all the appointments you’ve come to expect from a Schecter guitar.
A comfort-contoured Alder body in a your choice of four sleek finishes is matched to a 14” radius roasted maple neck carved to Nick's signature "C" shape, which is in turn outfit with a 25.5"-scale ebony fingerboard which is adorned with brass circle inlays and sports 22 jumbo frets.
The Nick Johnston PT boasts a full range of tonal possibilities courtesy of a unique pairing of calibrated pickups that yield rich, authentic tones. The Schecter Diamond Nick Johnston Single Coil in the bridge position and the Schecter Diamond '78 in the neck position; along with push-pull volume and tone controls deliver a wide array of sonic possibilities right to your fingertips. For maximum stability, we added a Diamond PT-S bridge and Schecter locking tuners.

I think Schecter is just winning 2023 with their artist roster. Now they have truly great guitars with these, the Aaron Marshall, John Browne and Keith Merrow models!
Ever listen to him playing and get kinda swept away in emotion, now that is the definition of music to me, Nick Johnston is green light.

I'm not a rock player (by modern standards) but I like this fellow very much and would probably never have heard of him but for his namesake guitars by Schecter (I have an offer in on one now!) Anyway, his ideas are very musical-not just a lot of 'shredder' horse manure. His lines have a nice legato quality-they flow nicely and stay with you. I'm a big Horace Silver, Count Basie fan, but I dig this guy too. He's unquestionably a definitive contributor to the art of guitar, and I'm an instant fan.

I got a Schecter C6 Deluxe....I think., as I lost the truss rod cover. $80 American. Playwise it eats just about every guitar I've owned (which is essentially every guitar)for lunch. Even the stock pickups are very good. I'm not even metal player ( nothing against Metal. I only wish I had the speed and accuracy of some of those cats). This guitar sounds beautiful clean.
These Schecters are hidden gems.
